No updates for weeks and months at a time and then when a new video is posted we're all supposed to thrill as nothing happens for six minutes. This entire update was nothing but two guys faffing about on a computer. No plot advancement, no new revelations or information, just a waste of six minutes and an inconvenience to several million electrons.
@DeJompeJompe Well, I don't know much about EMH, since I came late to the Slendy Fad its just too spread out for me to try and follow it. I also can't speak much to this one either because, tbh, I always saw it a a much more hokey take than Marblehornets or Tribetwelve, so them having things like this doesn't surprise me as much.
@DeJompeJompe However, with MH and TT(which are the big series I follow), its a bit more of a letdown. Tribetwelve probably has the best visuals of all of them, and a great creepy factor, but it just feels like there is a certain amount of laxness in his updates that eats away at the series.

It's designed in such a way that you'll get a good show if you just watch the youtube videos, but if you're willing to connect the dots between episodes by re-watching old episodes, and reading the other content they produce, they've addressed almost every unanswered question. It's up to you to figure it out.

What is the meaning behind the Black Book (being that it was introduced as a plot element, uploaded, and then, despite containing a massive amount of incomprehensible nonsense, never brought up again)? These are all plot threads that have been introduced and then promptly ignored, and some are over a year old. They simply can't construct a narrative.
@MercuryTheWhite Oh, and one more thing: it's generally a bad idea to start your story in one medium and then depend on an entirely different one to provide vital plot details. For one, because many people won't know where to locate the other material, for another because some people might not be interested in reading details when the videos were what captured their attention to begin with, and finally because it shows that you don't know where your story is going. This isn't an ARG.
@MercuryTheWhite Stephen King didn't write the first two thirds of The Shining and then decide to release the rest of the story as a radio drama, for example, and other, more successful Slendervlogs don't depend on supplemental materials because they are written well enough so that they don't need to. That looked like a virus to me. You need to boot the system into Safe Mode With Networking and run virus scans just to make sure you are not infected. If you are infected, running a virus scan in normal Windows is useless.
The last thing you need is a virus that monitors and reports your keystrokes and history.
