The Fyromians are a branch of Bulgarian people that separted from each other 60-100 years ago.
That is why you have same language , music/folklore(mildanov brothers) , Bulgarian names Golcev , Misirkov Tsar Samuil ,Solun , Bitola , Bulgarian history Tsar Samuil , Golcev , Misirikov etc etc

Where FYROM is today, once was the land of the Paeones, a mixture of Thracians and Illyrians. They lived around the river Vardar (Axios according to Homer) and many of them turned into Macedonians by citizenship. They could be claimed by Skokie as they are genetically related, but instead FYROM claims their more famous Greek neighbours.
