I always wondered, did she get raped by that man she took a smoke with? or why did she faint? O_o its a bit hard to understand this game. but its really great i think. i dont like fighting, but i want it to be scary, and not to much thinking. the only bad thing is that it is slow, and sometimes you can't run. and i hate the part when you go over the bridge to grandmas house when its raining. it takes like 5 minutes at least for me.

No its not, it actually one of the best games I've played in awhile. But you wouldnt like it if you only like games in which you blow peoples heads off and such. So I highly reccomend it if you like to look at the artestry and atmosphere of a game.

The game is deep..however I think you need an open mind to play it...it's very differnent from the normal games we're all used to...which is go to point a to b and do this to open that, etc. This game is slowly paced and very open to interpretation, so my understanding of it will be different from yours or anyone elses...and any and each of is correct.

Just because it's different doesn't necessarily mean it's good, and just because every possible theory out there can apply to it doesn't mean it's artistic or deep. I think I'll go make a game in which you just sit and look at the clouds as they move and form shapes. It would be *so* open to interpretation, and I could parade it as deep and thought provoking, breaking the boundaries of videogame norms and whatnot...

You're right. Being different doesn't necessarily make it good. It is however, a great game, IMO. If you played it and didn't like it...ok. I played halo and hated it. Does it make it a bad game? No. As for what is art...that's open to interpretation...I don't particularly like Pablo Picaso...does that make his work not art? Does that make any particualr peice by him less deep or artistic because I don't like it?

A lot of games rely heavily on art to provide players with unique experience, and to be honest, I liked the atmosphere in The Path, it was very creepy and unsettling, but the difference is that all those games don't sacrifice gameplay in order to tell a story/convey a message. I have nothing against developers experimenting with different approaches to storytelling, but I simply find The Path to be an experiment gone wrong. Unsatisfying, to sum it up in one word.

Much more mystical than any other horror game I've seen. And its not short as they say. Its actually quite long and wide. It takes days for you to finish it 'properly'. Or else...you can just walk onto grandma's house. Your choice.

Its not a survival game its an exploring game. The game has no REAL goal in it, its mostly about the artistic influence :) best part is the games this company makes all of them even the new ones only cost about 5 dollors!!!
