I Cpl Clark was the 50 cal gunner on this mission. Aston was the mk 19 gunner. The big flash of light in this video is Aston shooting the transformer above me with the mk 19. I whited out my nvg's and I could not see a thing.
@lemurdue Syrians flooding across the border into Al Qaim and moving onto Haditha to terrorize the Iraqi population into following strict Islamic Jihad and declaring a holy war against "the crusaders" is hardly the Sioux Indians vs. The Settlers. Retard. So no, I don't know because your reasoning is jack.
Syria is a secular state and has been the refuge of Iraqi Christians who've had to flee their country thanks to the Islamist government that the US installed. Your accusation that "Syrians" are pouring across the border is a myth that was debunked six years ago. It's funny that Syria is a secular state of free religion while thanks to America and the UK, Iraq is now an Islamic state. Laughable.
Oh yeah...it was like a week before you guys left too. Thats so horrible. We were like damn that's so horrible....little did we know we were about to get 48 of our own killed. We never had any clue were were about to be the Battalion facing the most combat over that period of time in Iraq. Learned pretty quickly though. My buddy I went tto high school with Brian P. Montgomery wa one of our snipers who were compromised in Barwana. I think that hit home the hardest. We named the highway after him.
That sucks altogether. As sad as it is, I'm glad it was you and not us- *I don't think I could handle my buddies going like that and that often. RIP KIAs. I hated Barwana, I bet that place is filled with a heck of a lotta bullet holes.
i think the worst part looking back now is how the time has past and life goes on. it's also very weird looking back and being out of the corps... i know you watch the movies and stuff, but sometimes i have trouble remembering everything and it kinda freaks me out... maybe i have alzheimer's...
Former soldiers who are now members of Iraq Veterans Against the War and Veterans for Peace have confessed to the atrocities that they and fellow soldiers committed in Iraq and Afghanistan. These crimes are also well documented by human rights groups.
Perhaps one of the reasons why soldiers commit suicide is because of their guilt and anguish over what they have done.
There have been a couple isolated incidents. There are in every war and those military membes were tried in court. If those veterans admitted to atrocities they shouldn't be speaking out, they should turn themselves in. Although I will say a majority of the Vets have been exposed to have political backing from left wing groups, former/current criminals/drug abusers, and some never served at all. They aren't a reliable source for anyone on the war.
So if someone is liberal, their testimony is invalid? Why do you so easily dismiss the opinions of people who are different than you? You seem to reject the truth.
I do not believe that ALL soldiers commit atrocities and are war criminals. There are good-hearted, decent men in the army, thank goodness.
And they're trained to be viscous and barbaric. In boot camp, they chant, "Kill! Kill! Kill without Mercy!" It's normal for some men to emerge from this training as cold-blooded killers.
Semper Fi. I ripped into Haditha over a year ago and have since been home. Thank you all for your sacrifices (some paid the the ultimate price) so that I could patrol those streets day-to-day and I made it home. It is a different world over there now and we actually turned all security over to the IPs and IA. To all that doubt our progress and mission, ignorance is bliss.
Talk about ignorance, attacking the wrong country and killing innocent people makes a jarhead a fucking coward. bunch of brainwashed pussy's.what's the a matter jarhead...shell shock make you war wacky? the only good marine is a dead marine hoo-raah! goog luck making it in society you bunch of fuck-ups. maybe you can semper-fi your ass straight to a fucking mental ward. oh well someones gotta do bush's dirty work..better you than me.
you ungreatfull sun of a bitch! my brothers are DIEING to protect your fucking right to say that fucked up shit and you have the nerv to say somthing like THAT... wow
BS, you guys aren't protecting anything except the interests of the rich. There's not one instance in history where the American military has protected American freedom from outside forces.
Who is we??? I haven't seen you in Iraq by my side doing Civil Affairs missions and handing out soccer balls Mr. "T". "Bullets make the blood flow" is a ditty or song that armies have been saying for years and years dating back to the british a couple hundred years ago you old fart. Don't comment my videos if you are going to show ignorance.

He's as full of shit as his 1,000,000 Iraqis figures. I'm sorry but I've been here since 2005 and I'm supposed to believe more than 800 to 1000 dead bodies are strewn across Iraq every single day since March 2003? Where are they stacking them? I'm in Baghdad almost everyday...where do they all go? Do they vanish? I mean, shit, thats saying we killed off 3% of the population. ANOTHER LIBERAL NUTJOB LIE

I ain't no military expert, but why don't they use thermal imagine cameras to scan the area during night missions? i mean that way they can see who's hiding where.
Also don't the marines have remote weapon systems installed on their Humvees?
we use them all the time, but when the vehicles are moving the signal gets shaky/un-focused. sometimes it's easier to stick to night vision. the only "remote" weapons systems we carry are the javelin and tow anti-tank missiles. these are thermal and wire-guided. i can't really go into further detail for the sake of opsec. some of the Iraqis used to think the tow was a magic wand that we'd use to curse them. i always got a kick out of that. we had to explain that one over and over again...

US post-invasion deaths in Iraq according to the lying Neocon-Nazis: c5000
Real total (including mercenaries and fly-outs of dying grunts to Germany etc): c7,000
Excess post-invasion Iraqi deaths (2006 figures per The Lancet survey, extrapolated to now): c900,000-1,000,000 PLUS ~2,000,000 wounded or refugees.
I know who my tears are for. The overwhelming majority of these Iraqis were non-combatants. They didn't volunteer.
Fucking Nazis....
