not cold enough for the throttle? match your rpms with the throttle as you depress the clutch? wtf is this guy talking about? ------just let the clutch out till the bike starts to move and give it some gas to go then let the clutch out fully. throttle on and when your rpms reach 14500 let up on throttle and pull up on the selector and return throttle to full. repeat until satisfied. while stopping pull in clutch and grip tank with legs break hard with right hand lever for cool stoppie approach.

@soran15 its called speed shifting you have to find the right RPMS pretty much like engine breaking when you slow down and stop you find the right RPMS and it will shift right into the next gear

how do you check your fuel levels on those bikes that don't have a fuel gauge? just open it and look? lol?

@csforlife20 On this particular Ninja, there is no fuel gauge so you can't tell without opening up the tank. But you don't usually need to, because when you run out of gas, you just flip that switch he showed at the beginning to your reserve tank and you have enough gas to usually get to a gas station. Unless you're riding in the middle of nowhere, you should have plenty to be able to re-fuel.

I think the newer 250s have a fuel gauge, but I'm not 100% certain

You had better have your hand or other foot on the brake when shifting into gear with that style of bike. The clutch plates can stick together if the bike has been sitting and it very well may jump forward when you put in in gear causing you to drop the bike.

Just a piece of advice. I've owned this exact bike for several years now.

Good thing in japanese bikes that they do start without primer. Italian bikes are pain in ass when tempeture goes below 10 degrees celsius. Even below 20 degrees you need to use primer to start the engine.
