Loved your video. The backgrounds are great. Thank for the tip about waiting a couple of minutes. I have tried the resist technique in the past with unsatisfactory results. I think your tip may be the answer.
I have tried so many times and it failed due to the brayer not blending d dye ink smoothly. It was a stained outcome. What type of brayer should be used?
@kksm18 - I will attempt to answer, let me know if you have more questions. I used Stampi'Up!s Classic ink which is a water based ink not a pigment ink. Also, you may want to let the VersaMark dry for a few minutes. I don't know if there are different types of brayers. I used the one Stampin'Up! sells. The inked roll needs to turn freely, it is easy to find yourself pushing the roller across the glossy card stock and not rolling it across which will smear it.
I think you should mention that Versamark is pigment ink and because that the stampin up ink you used is dye ink, that's how the "resist" works. If you use pigment ink and try to do the "resist" effect with Versamark (pigment ink), it won't work. I tried and I failed quite badly. I really like the colours and patterns you used here though.

You need to use the glossy card stock to get a smooth finish. You can use regular card stock but you wont be able to buff up the background and it will probably look pretty smudgy. However the ink goes on to the regular card stock is how it will end up looking. You wont be able to remove much. The Versamark will still resist ink even on regular card stock.
Hi, thanks for videos. Question, can glossy photo paper be used? I have tons and this would be a great way to use some of it. Thanks. B.

Is this ink special? I liked very much your results, but I am afraid that regular stamping ink will not dry well.

Hi, can you tell me if you have to use glossy C/S for this. Can I use plain C/S or will I have to use embossing powder too.
Thanks
