@anisometropie It may have been because the author was not aware that there was no solution. So he made a Flash version of it and wanted to know if it was really impossible. At least, that's my theory.

You can cheat by right clicking just before one of the supplies then left clicking just after it and it makes the line go through the middle of the supply. There is a skip in the video when this happens and that is how they did it, So they DID right click to cheat.
