  • Apple and MS ( and many others) had this stuff long before Sony

    yet media's going bullshit

And even with that "agreement" it doesn't automatically say you have no right to EVER sue sony...

  • now i canot even log in to the internet on my ps3! but fuck it sonys geting ass kicked HAHA! And fuck them i'll sue them for not making me use my product as i was told that i can use it for!

  • Happend to ME!! WTF I WANT TO PLAY COD!

  • Sony just doesn't learn...

Treat customers like shit => hacking

Treat customers with respect => Profit for both sides

  • @2Critical4You Don't worry it's only in Usa :)

    hueheheheh

  • @Stevie68000 its funny how jewish people are trusted to run America. Wasnt America a christian country? How did Americans let jews run their country? Im pretty sure if it was muslims or hindus or any other religion they wouldnt have even been considered for the jobs. Jews got where they are in America by playing the victim of the hulocost & American people feeling sorry for them. Btw American presidents don't run USA, they are puppets. If they dont follow orders they will get shot like JFK!!

  • Nintendo Wii = Video Games and nothing else. :D

  • Is that really an enforceable clause? Has that been upheld in court ?

  • Hacking , psp go failed, not supported UMDs, No cross game party chat, playstion plus is rip off. And the biggest fail Uncharted3 coming near MW3 lol now this

  • unreasonable terms and conditions don't hold up in court.

  • @meadowsirl They WILL hold up in court WHEN xbox/ps3 gets hacked multiple more times, then people stop using consoles and see how the economy gets even worse =)

  • Think I'm switching to Xbox when MW3 drops

  • @gorillafix No -.- xbox has the SAME agreement as Sony, in fact- they had it before Sony -.-

  • @kadsl123 Lol...don't confuse TheAlyonaShow & RTДмзя1кд with "news outlets"...they just hate Sony because it's a Japanese Co...and Japan & Russia are at war...they don't really care about gamers' rights.

  • BY THE POSTS BELOW / ABOVE IT'S CLEAR THAT

    ALYONA'S AUDIENCE ARE AUTISTIC CHILDREN.

    123

  • Couple things:

You can still sue individually, if you feel the need to tie up the court's time with bullshit lawsuits. Second, everyone should know by now that the hacking was not as severe as being reported. To this date, there hasn't been a SINGLE case of identity theft of any kind. I can't believe news outlets are still saying the people ID and CC info was exposed when it wasn't.

  • @kadsl123 "bullshit lawsuits"? Fuck you, corporate robot. First the Supreme Court pulls this shit, now Sony. I hope you're the first to suffer from the shit you defend so ignorantly.

  • @aaronpolitical Suffer from what? I never intend to sue, let alone form a class action, because most of the time their a waste of time and money and is over something that can be solved another way. Just because I'm not a typical sue-happy American like you seem to be doesn't make me a "corporate robot".

  • @kadsl123 I have never sued anyone in my life. But I acknowledge the FACT that there is sometimes a need for a class action lawsuit. Your comment indicates that you see NO need for them, which is completely ignorant. Or dishonest (hence the corporate robot comment), so you tell me which it is.

  • and i wanna sue sony why? also its like 88% of the people lie about reading agreements.

  • Not buying another Playstation again.

    Sony can suck my dick.

  • South Park did an episode on this.

  • Another example of a failed business model, create legal basis, even legislation, to force people to conform to their failed model. This is exactly like Monsanto has done where farmers can no longer hold Monsanto accountable for their crops being infected with GMOs and can only sue the farm where it came from. The MPAA made laws to make it a felony to download a movie and soon to even have it streamed. Businesses should improve their business model not force people to conform to their failures.

  • More reasons for me to continue boycotting Sony.

  • not interested in having Sony any more

  • Fuck man. This just makes me all the more relieved that I never attempted to try out online services for consoles.

  • Comcast just did the exact same thing and tried to force everyone into it immediately by surreptitiously changing our account numbers

I actually read the fine print and have already opted-out.

  • the last thing i bought that has the sony name on it was a boom box I got for my mom years ago. it stopped playing cd's after only 6 months. fuck sony.

  • LOL they can say anything they want -- I'm thinking that if Sony is in a class action they will not even bring it up - so as not to piss of a judge.

You can put anything you like in an agreement, but if you try and hide something so significant in a correspondence meant to communicate something so different - a judge will wave it.

  • Alyona you sho shexy

  • Comment removed

  • How about the part where your mouth is sewed to someone else's asshole? Or is that on the next agreement in the fine print?

  • @rich2rock yeah thats def a white thang yall like that kind of stuff

  • @Afroxec South Park?

  • @rich2rock ur a pedo rofl

  • @Afroxec You sign your rights away. rlmao

  • @rich2rock ur gay rofl

  • @Afroxec Oh man, the names....I can't take it........you win, you're champion

  • @rich2rock u remain a faggot rofl

  • @Afroxec I am destroyed. You are the master of name calling. It all too much for me.

  • @Afroxec I am destroyed. You are the master of name calling. It all too much for me

  • @rich2rock ur still a fagbot

  • I'm refusing to sign the terms until I need to then I will write my letter. I'm hoping sony changes there terms from all the bad press before I need to but now I am worried that my funds in my play station account could be removed or something like that.

  • I didn't read the agreement but I don't plan on suing sony so I don't really care.

  • russians are microsoft fanboys lol

  • @OpenTheTrollGate Actually in Russia most public and gov PC´s use LINUX.

  • A corporation doesn't have the authority to deny their customers the right to a class action lawsuit. In some states they may be able to deny their employees, but never their customers.

  • This isn't just a slimy move... this is illegal

  • @Sasukelegend5 WAS illegal

new government makes rich people be able to be outlaws without "breaking the law"

  • @Sasukelegend5 It's fair :/

If people really gave two shits about identity theft or any other shit, they wouldn't leave their information on their PS3 and would instead go out and buy a money card every time they want to buy something off the PSnet.

I think this is an awesome idea. If you're no smart enough to not leave things up to chance then no class action lawsuit for you.

  • @Sasukelegend5

Sounds like it to me, too. If nothing else the Courts could strike it down as "against public policy".

  • @Sasukelegend5 actually there is a clause in the user agreement that states that if you want to opt out of this condition then you must send it in writing to Sony. So there you have it. But who reads the damn terms & conditions anyway!

  • @smithy2306 That's the point. They KNOW nobody will read them, so they sneak it in. But then again, some people do everything online and don't even have a way to write them. So this fucks them over in a horrible manner.

  • @Sasukelegend5 Write what? I dont know anyone who cant write and send a letter. Read the terms and conditions if your so upset about this kind of stuff, its in there. Nuff said.

  • @smithy2306 But to force them to do this to access online play is insane. Writing that you don't agree isn't fair. Some don't even HAVE post offices anymore! Not with this economy. Oh and you should read this.

The Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999 (UTCCRs) protect consumers against unfair standard terms in contracts they make with traders. The Office of Fair Trading, together with certain other bodies, can take legal action to prevent the use of such terms.

  • @Sasukelegend5 Well it clearly doesn't protect customers going by this condition from Sony lol I dont really care to be honest. Your still free to sue them yourself, just not a class action lawsuit. You Americans would sue for anything!

  • @smithy2306 If they actually DO do something illegal and it messes with us, or our identities are compromised because they weren't secure enough, it's fine to sue. And I REALLY don't like the way you said that. You are acting like it's ALL Americans, in which case, IT'S NOT. Also, when it's give up your rights or don't use a product they promised you in the first place, that IS unreasonable, and thus the T&C are illegal and therefor non-binding

  • @Sasukelegend5 Funny that its only Americans who kick up a stink about it. Nothing that is online is truly secure, thats a fact and if you are good enough, which these hackers were, then you could hack anything. Its just unfortunate that it was something as big as the PSN. If you wanted to keep the ability for another OS on your PS3 then all you had to do was not upgrade the firmware. If having another OS could be exploited by idiots to pirate games then blame them for the removal, not Sony.

  • @smithy2306 It must be bliss to be ignorant. Think of it this way. Some games you have to update to even play. Functionality is lost not being allowed to connect. AND you have to upgrade to access the network! There are no ifs ands or buts about it! Btw, they didn't hack psn. That's a cover story. There were people exploiting custom firmware to access the dev console and steal games. That's why it was shut down for a time. And it's only America who had to agree to this! So stfu

  • @Sasukelegend5 Go fuck yourself calling me ignorant. YOU had the choice to update the firmware so if I wanted to use the other OS to do some heavy processing with the cells or some other things like that I would have bought a 2nd PS3 to game with if it was so important to me. Fact is these dickhead assholes started to exploit the system through the OS option to use pirate software. You know how hard devs work on these games? They shouldn't have their work effectively stolen.

  • @smithy2306 Are you upset because you can't handle the truth? The fact is, that they are messing with the users. They are infringing upon rights, and they only can get away with it in the US BECAUSE they've bought the damned politicians. But the fact remains is that what they did IS illegal. Both Sony AND the hackers who went to pirate software. Now then, it's not a choice. Basically they're holding online functionality HOSTAGE unless you agree to THEIR TERMS! Which are unreasonable and illegal.

  • @Sasukelegend5 Oh for fuck sake, yes Im so upset about a terms and condtions that I couldn't give a rats arse about that I am about to cry!! It seems to me your the one who is butt hurt about this. Heres an idea: since you can still sue on your own, how about you do that to make you feel better? And yeah sure Sony went to pirate software and therefore make no money off it, you complete and utter spastic. Im done talking to you now because your that butthurt you cant see the logic. Peace

  • @smithy2306 Actually, I'm not butthurt, the truth I'm talking about is your ignorance to the situation. You are completely taking me out of context. I know your type, you can't admit being wrong. Whatever the evidence is, you cast it aside and close off. You blame others for your ignorance and instead get hostile when called out on it. I'm merely stating legal data and the truth of the issues. You can't handle it and so you attack me. Here's a suggestion. Grow the fuck up.

  • I'm getting pretty sick of "opt out" clauses.

There is not a single issue, legal or otherwise that should be chosen for me without consent.

  • XBOX...no drama

  • @IndiaSergeant Yes but you have to pay up the ass.

  • @zombiecatz I can;t agree more, but this PS crap is worth avoiding.

  • @IndiaSergeant Yeah true. If I could afford such things I would switch. Hopefully we can do something about this.

  • @zombiecatz I hope you can too...I would be just as PO'd as you are if my gaming were being messed with! Best wishes, man :)

  • @IndiaSergeant PC no drama and much much better ;) also has a much better quality to price ratio when compared to Xbox which is more or less a mini PC and cant be upgraded or modded like PCs xD

  • @Phenixtri can you play HALO on PC? I have a limited game range :P

  • @IndiaSergeant Yes both Halo 1 and im pretty sure 2 as well can be played and there are plenty of mods out there for the 2 games as well.

  • @IndiaSergeant Xbox has the same user agreement (TOS) -.- in fact, they had it before Sony did -.-

  • @MeijinKino I don't care...lol Invasion anyone?

  • Comment removed

  • Respond to this video... JUST RROD

  • lmao, you guys dont pay anything for psn, so stfu

  • might have just put a clause to be able ass rape me while playing online

screw this im going xbox live

  • I'm writing that letter.

  • while thats fucked up ill still be using my ps3, individuals can still sue so i say w/e. im a gamer not a complainer

  • this isnt a big deal ffs u can still sue just one by one + u get more of the money that way <_< people are really dumb o and BTW MS has this too.

  • @tpayne888 not everyone has the money to sue individually, plus class action suits are more likely to change company policy rather than out-of-court settlements which corps use to sweep major issues under the rug.

  • @blacklite911 got me ther but i mean people are making this to big a deal i mean ik this is bad and they shouldnt do it but what if we ran Sony we all would do the same thing.

  • @tpayne888 I know sony is trying to save their ass, good for them but them doing so may mean violating the rights of people. They believe in self preservation, but so do I as a consumer.

  • @tpayne888 @tpayne888 I know sony is trying to save their ass, good for them but them doing so may mean violating the rights of people. They believe in self preservation, but so do I as a consumer.

  • @tpayne888

It's easier for corporations to defeat an individual. A collective group of people can organize more funds and get more media attention to their cause making it a lot harder to corporations to win.

  • @PeterLote yea but i dont see the big deal MS has this to but NO one is bitching to them.

  • @tpayne888 MS has a lot more security on the system that handles their customers' CC info

  • @fram4153 they got hacked by lulzsec too and they said it was easy as hell -_-

  • And this is why I play PC games now. Boycott boycott boycott!

  • Bitches want boycotted too. Just cancelled my psn sub, sup sony? why u mad bro? screw u. also now I r pass on ur planetside2 sucka. BOYCOTTED BEOCH!

  • Any agreement that violates a users fundamental rights is not legal.
