The movie was so edited from the actual story. the actual story reported of incubi/succubi activity in the house, everyone was raped, including the little children. The family had brought in a stay-at-the-location paranormal investigation team. They were all raped. They got pushed downstairs and choked while they slept. The movie could have been much more disturbing. I was disappointed in the movie. But I love the theme, and how they adapted it. But they couldve had more of the actual story. .

This is my favourite movie of all time. It's based on a true story, it's very creepy and very sad, but all true joy at the end. I felt really bad for the boy who was burned alive, imagine if you were in a situation like that, how scared you'd be.

The movie is more sad than scary.

I had tears in my eyes, when Matt Campbell tried to say his mother, that it's not her fault if he died and she did not want to listen.

And in the end from the medical view, the boy was doomed although he and his family fought for his life.

Honestly I think that I like the movie of this reason.

There are many thrillers or horror movies, but it was that disease, that made it sad and special, therefore better.

The movie wasn't scary at all but my friends jumped and screamed every time something "scary" happened. It took me forever to fall asleep but that was because after the movie, a silouhette of a man walked past me and scratched my ear sortof so naturally, I stayed awake to see if anything else happened to me or the others that were with me

Hey everyone I wrote the soundtrack music for this movie. Thanks for loving and hating this music!! That's the effect we're going for!! The name of the song as it appears on the album is "The Haunting in Connecticut: Main Theme". There are many reasons I chose such a  formal title, but for a short while I considered calling it "Why Do Bad Things Happen?". Which again is not a great title but based on the dialogue in the scene where it plays.
