The music is Sergei Rachmaninov's setting of the Ave Maria (slightly different in its Russian Orthodox form from the Roman Catholic version). The English translation goes like this: "O Theotokos and Virgin, rejoice! O Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, for thou hast borne the Saviour of our souls."
