you can do this with any class

the easier way to do this rather than using the console command is to get on top of it and shoot at it with any weapon.

preferably with a bullet one. (eg you would wana be shooting the barrel with a rocket as that will destroy it and the flamethrower doesnt work either. i dont know about syringes though

Speaking of which, does anyone know if this form of espionage could be preformed *successfully* with other classes (I saw scoot @ 1:33)? Like, let's say, a pyro?

@ElwoodFG I've tried in other classes, it doesn't work too well, mostly because the other characters are huge or have long weapons that just stick out of the barrel. With the Spy, you can get it just right so you can sneak in, maybe a kneecap sticking out but nothing big like a massive flamethrower.

It's either +use or -use, they both do the same thing really.

Also, with one of the recent updates, it has to be allowed by the server before you can do it, so you won't be able to do it on all the servers.

That was bad...You weren't convincing at all. You have to be more natural. A barrel wouldn't've acted like that in those situations. Look up some barrel frag videos on YouTube. You should be able to get some ideas there. Otherwise I suggest just trying to blend in more. Try it at places like the old west or maybe a Home Depot.

I think I heard you do this by bind the use command to a key, then hitting your use key while aiming at the barrel. I'm pretty certain it's been patched though.

Its not patched. You bind +use to some key and off you go. You can also push the barrels and/or guns with it.

It depends on how well I manage to tuck myself in. Sometimes I didn't do it too well, and half of my model was sticking out.

But other times I was completely hidden save for my boot, which people didn't really look out for.
