  • will 500W power be enough for this rig???

  • @vighu999 no, 600 watt is what they recommend as a minimum.

  • Can you fit a side panel fan on with the Coolermaster V8 in?

  • @Dragan12344321 depends on what kind of fan ^^

it will be close but should be possible.

  • unkuppel it :p

bedoel je niet unplugg it xD

    toch noce rig

  • I like the part 1 and 2 of this build man! :) German accent is very cool I think, cause im talking to germans over Ventrilo in the clan, ans also them are very nice when talking ^^, You and your brother rocks!

Back to topic, the rig is very nice. Only thing that's an issue is the GPU, witch you told yourself :) Nice vid man, like to see more of your setup :)

    5* and sub

  • i'm glad you like my system. i swapped out the gpu for 2 4890's awhile ago already tho. have some vids and benchmarks of it.

  • What a coincidence! i put my Corsair Sticker right where you put it!!! lol, im getting an i7 but with an as rock x58 extreme

  • lol nice.

  • i don't think you can make 4.2 GHz without turning up the vcore. on 3.55 it ran a bit unstable so i set the voltage to 1.25.

i can go further but i don't feel like it :)

performance difference is so small that it doesn't really matter to me.

  • true, but i took the v8 because it looks cool ^^

and it's keeping my cpu cool enough.

  • you shouldn't be concerned about it. actually it's only important to overclockers. the difference between a c0 and d0 stepping cpu is that they tweaked the it, removed some bugs (if any) and made it more stable (especially under high clocks).

  • what is your cpu temperatures when you do overclock at 3,55GHz?

what is your stepping?D0 or C0?

  • it's a c0 stepping cpu.

    room temp: 25°C

idle cpu: 32°C (cores at 40°C)

full load: cpu: 56°C (cores at 65°C)

  • Cool

  • If i where you, i should take more ddr3 memory

  • i have installed 3 more gigs in my system, just 5 minutes ago :)

  • It is a small world I plan to build the EXACT same rig, with the exception of the CPU cooler and a 1 TB hard drive. Ill probably consult you on OCing it to 3.5. Hope speak with you soon.

  • cool, gl with it.

and sure, send me a pm when you're going to oc.

  • "cpu "zet"" :P

  • cpu zee ^^

  • dunno, i don't have watercooling :)

look at the post below to c temps

  • How well does the V8 cool at 3.55GHz

  • roomtemp: 25°C

cpu idle: 31°C (the cores are at 40°C)

cpu full load: 50°C (cores at 60°C)

    that's with 2 xfx HD4890's running in crossfire :)

  • i did not wear rubber gloves when i assembled this lol...

the people that do so do it to protect the components from ESD (electrostatic discharge) which can kill your pc.

  • lol your cpu cooler really does like on a V8 engine :P anyway nice rig :)

  • yeah it's a cool looking cooler and works fine :)

    thnx ^^

  • owja ik ben nederlands btw :P

  • ik belg ^^

  • when you record, its very noise, im always hearing a click..im sure its the way you hold your camera or the camera itself..otherwise great setup.

  • yeah it's the stupid camera. has 3 recording options wich can be set with a switch (that's the clicking). for close, medium and far distances. so yeah that's why the quality is so bad at the beginning. had the switch at maximum distance in stead of close distance.
