I was with a pal in the circle when this was going on. It was not early morning/evening but about midday i think. Never saw the ball of light but the helos were displaying slightly unusual behaviour. I live near this area and the MoD fly about in a similar manner fairly often. I remain open to what went on that day (my mate sensed something wierd in the field before all this kicked off but i just took the pi55..sorry). Cracking day and rocking landscape art (whoever created it) though.
First Helicopter is a Super Lynx 300, the other Gazelle SA341C. The Flashing light is a reflection of the anti-collision light which can be red or white, strobe (flashing) or rotating on the underside of the aircraft. And before you ask. Looking at the film you can see that it is early morning or evening as mist is visible and dew on the fields. Dew+grass = reflective surface. As for why they are there. Training area, were being nosey and taking pictures just like them. Sorry no small green men
Nimrodcap, you are wrong about the dew reflection. I am fortunate enough to have seen the original hi-res footage, and the helicopters are quite deliberately chasing down balls of light that are flying in and out of the crop. This isn't apparent in the You Tube footage due to the resolution, but I can assure you that it is not a reflection from dew. I have seen these glowing orbs for myself, they are quite common in the area, though as to their source I have no explanation.
Ye wibble I seen it before too n its defo a ball of light . I seen this vid before but Im sure when I tried to look again it had been removed . Now its back . At least your open minded n truthfull enough to say you have no explanation , but acknowledge there is somethin strange goin on here . Well its not just here is it ? These sceptics insult the human race as a whole n make me downright mad at times . How insignificant they must feel .
if wot u say is true,where can we see a vid with the orbs...having a vid with no orbs and it said there are orbs is useless..its like saying ive won the pools but therell never be any money...no point...does a vid with the orbs in exist or is it another olivers castle job...without the orbs?
Its not a matter of 'if what I say is true'. The resolution of You Tube videos is insufficient to show hi-res detail. The original footage, on UK TV many years ago, clearly showed the orb under the hovering helicopter. It was why the military were there. Even if you can't see the orb, why do you think that two helicopters arrive on the scene from nowhere and start hovering a few feet off the ground in the middle of a remote field?
