  • Wow, nice strat guys. Maybe that will need balancing, but not sure. It's pretty much an all-in for aliens on that. I think a sentry or two might stop it dead in its tracks.

  • This is mostly down the the CC/Hive health nerf. Although it was already a problem before that.

    No idea how to fix this other than making lerks do very little damage against buildings.

  • @swalken I think that might already be the plan, spikes will be light damage type when damage types are fully implemented I bet.

  • We suspected beforehand that a lerk rush would be good, but we didn't think it would be that good. CS died in under 10s. It'll definitely needs some balancing.

  • Well, this is Beta and the players are testing the mechanics. Now NS2 is aware of that issue and it will be balanced.

  • Aye, we've talked about it before and decided to actually try it this time. Definitely needs to be looked at for balance tweaking.

  • Yup that is definitely unbalanced. But we had to try it just to see it!

  • I'd had my suspicions about lerk spikes being OP vs Structures. I think this pretty much answers all my questions.
