I don't really believe we are making such an impact by our actions as a whole around the world for global warming to occur. I do believe that we are running in natural cycles that we have barely, barely affected. However, I certainly do support causes that reduce harmful emissions into our atmosphere and which stop poisons from entering our water. All in all, global warming may not be a cause to be alarmed about. However, the health of the planet is something we should consider.

Greenpeace stands for a better world, something I too want. But a better world includes the use of fission based power... and hopefully sooner than later fusion based power. We're not going to be able to sustain any forward momentum using just solar and wind. Those options(W & S) are great supplements for a smart grids, but not the total solution(obviously).

If the whole of the UK was nuclear, our emissions would be reduced by 6% (by mining and transportation and its supply is only to electricity) by 2023 (not enough to combat climate change. If the whole world went Nuclear, we'd only have 20 years left of Uranium. The waste is dangerous, the pollutants destroy the local wildlife. Warm water coming out the stations damages rivers. We can meet the demand of energy without Nuclear.

@alexkvaskov Proof? Look it up, plants need CO2 to be at 200 ppm at least. CO2 has been steadily declining for millions of years and was at 280 before the industrial revolution which helped free up a lot of trapped CO2.
Hell, go look up graphs of CO2 for every single epoch in Earth's history and you'll see that it was much higher. And, surprise surprise, the world was just fine and no chain reaction was set off that destroyed us all.

I don't really believe we are making such an impact by our actions as a whole around the world for global warming to occur. I do believe that we are running in natural cycles that we have barely, barely affected. However, I certainly do support causes that reduce harmful emissions into our atmosphere and which stop poisons from entering our water. All in all, global warming may not be a cause to be alarmed about. However, the health of the planet is something we should consider.
