  • Could you deer hunt with this bow?

  • how can I know the amount of # on a bow that i should use?

  • @belzach T-mac here and here in Oklahoma you have to use a bow that is at least 40# so I would have to say if it is for hunting perposes then something over 40# would have to be used. The lower the poundage the more accurate you can be so target shooting can be as low as 30#. 50# would be the least I would use but I am a bigger guy.

  • nice video but I have to disagree with him . not any adult can just go and pick up a 55 # longbow and expect to shoot good or learn proper shooting skills. 55# is def for a big strong adult. I would be considered a normal adult male and started with 40 # last summer and was all I could handle even a bit much at times.

  • @Skankpronger sorry I have little experiance at being a average sized adult. I think this bow was 50# at 27" so at my draw It should have been 55 lbs. My longbow is much stouter so this bow felt very light in the poundage. Ike shot the bow and found it comfortable so I assumed it would be good for the averge shooter.

  • Very nice bow.
