this is video from the 1st version of a (highly limited)free demo of solely the "creature creator" aspect of the game that was released as a teaser for the full game a few months ago. It's vid of a creature "preview" to only show what can be made in the creator. the preview allows you to see how your designed creatures skeleton will move/and test some animations. The vid doesnt show off the creation process,various options,or actual in-game world.

In the full game there will also be a building/vehicle/spaceship creator, and many levels of gameplay- there will be a fully fleshed out world from the size of cells, which you evolve and design into unique creatures, then from creature to a tribe of creatures, to building villages, to a world society, to interplanetary travel. The depth involved in the different levels of game play is so extensive that it's difficult to sum up here. Check out spore's website for more info :)
