@alstreet2009 Mind it isn't an Irish song! And it has been kind of turned into a drinking song as it is commonly sung in pub sessions but it isn't really a drinking song as such.
@SneakerRock I came looking for it today already. having heard him do an awesome Happy Birthday for Bono once in The Netherlands. This was actually pretty good!
All credit to Larry for being the only one out of many many 'singers' to cover this song that actually stays fairly closely to Ewan Maccoll's original meter, and you can tell the crowd is thrown as they try to clap along in time.Nice one Larry! Bono is still a colossal twat though heh heh!
@dejnecki1 Listen to the original-Ewan Maccoll and you will probably be surprised especially if you are more familiar with the Pogues version which like every other version changes the meter to 4/4 instead of 2/4 a fact which Ewan must have hated
@meccaturbo - I'll say it one more time just in case you missed it the first time. It's called Yamaha Recording Customs and Nobly & Cooley couldn't match that quality if someone paid them to which is why Yamaha is the most recorded drum comany on the planet. I don't need to be a sales person because I don't share this opinion of Yamaha alone. Look up the professionals that use the drums are they wrong too? Didn't think so, so yeah it is just you.
@meccaturbo - I see you have trouble reading it say's the most recorded drums in history, but I see you left that part out and we all know why, so just STFU and stop making yourself look like a fucktard everyday you live.
@meccaturbo - Now you can sit here and talk to yourself because I really don't have no more time in my life to try and educate a retarded moron like yourself. You read the facts and still dispute. Also I hate to disappoint you again but actually the Ford Mustand Saleen has the best suspension system, so keep trying.
@meccaturbo - Really and I bet you think die-cast hoops are better too.....LMFAO you surely are stupid and know nothing even when you read it for yourself. Die-cast hoops only work best on snares moron and Yamaha Recording Customs are the best which is why they are the only drums ever in history to claim the title. Just start facing reality and life will get easier I promise.
@predatorxocw So continue to whine on with your opinions that are not based on scientific facts. As I said before, you think you know jack, but in reality you don't know dick.
@meccaturbo - Then entertain us and list it's model number or doesn't your snare have one......I'm thinking its an air players snare drum. You use good shit.....lmfao You could refinance your home in just what I spent on my computer. If you have good shit then do tell what kind of computer are you using? See people that have good shit tend to have everything good not just one piece. My computer box alone over $5000 not including the two 24" LCDs and Klipsch speakers. How much did your Dell cost?
@meccaturbo - Recording Customs sound better and I'm quite happy with my Brady snare, but thanks for the offer I probably would have saved a few hundred if I had went with a lesser brand like Noble & Cooley. LMFAO Zildjian suck compared to my Paiste Signatures......hell my sound edge hi-hats cost more then your whole cymbal set and you don't want to know what I paid for my power ride. Keep talking it's rather entertaining. What kind of computer you got I see you tried dodging that bullet.
@meccaturbo - You keep talking about my Yamaha Recording Customs too, yet I see you continually fail to list your drums up here......hmmmmmm why is that?
@meccaturbo - Yeah you're right I jumped in my car drive 10 miles to a music store at 12AM wrote down some model numbers to drums that most music stores don't carry because they have to be special ordered drove back and posted them in under 3 minutes. Try this out I turned around walked over to my kit wrote down the numbers and then posted them so you could look them up at Yamaha's website and drool all over yourself.
@meccaturbo - And for the record I own a vintage set of Yamaha Recording Customs which where made back in 1989 and have been completely restored right down to the finish. They are more valuable on the market then any set of Noble & Cooley drums you can think of. Like I said these are the drums that made history and the exact year they did it, so keep drooling over your cheaply made new wood drums which don't even cost as much in price as my 24in kick bass.
@meccaturbo - Nothing you say makes sense and it's been proven by real professionals. Until you list your model numbers up here then you have nothing left to say about drums. Regardless of what pretend theory you want to believe we all know the truth which is why Yamaha is the most recorded drums in history. So blow it out your tail pipe either list those model numbers or STFU. nuff said
@meccaturbo - And finally here is the ass kicker you been waiting for....Noble & Cooley have been in business since 1854 and Yamaha was founded in 1967 and Yamaha is the most recorded drums in music history. Now Sherlock you tell me why Yamaha beat a company that has been in business longer. The most recorded drums ever in music history is the Yamaha Recording Customs I don't see Noble & Cooley mentioned at all....hmmmmm and they been around 113 years longer.....LMFAO
@meccaturbo - Just goes to show you who has the better sounding drums. Once again, much like the Police reunion tour you lose another turn. You're so stupid I'm starting to think you shit your brains out years ago. If a company that has been in business 113 years longer then the competition can't achieve a simple goal like being the most recorded drums in music history then I'm afraid that shows just how lame there products really are.
@meccaturbo - 113 years in business longer then Yamaha and still they can't claim the title of having the most recorded drums in music history..........ROFL You must be feeling like a complete idiot not that you don't feel that way every day you wake up, just pointing it out here because you must feel extra stupid to have to realize that every battle you try to win ends up backfiring in your face. think about it 113 years longer and Yamaha spanked that ass hard-core style. That's just f**ked up
@meccaturbo - And just so you don't forget the FACTS when you go to leave another stupid reply....113 YEARS LONGER is how long Noble & Cooley have over Yamaha and Yamaha still has the most recorded drums in music history. That must just ruin your day and it also makes you look like a complete idiot. Like I told you a few hundred replies back get some education maybe even pick up a Leap Frog for f**ks sake and learn math.
@predatorxocw Getting louder and louder with all caps because you don't have an argument? How amusing. You're like a cheap and glitzy ad, big bold letters, people yelling at customers telling them to buy it....but when you look closely, there's no argument because the stupid salesman doesn't understand the product. That's you, stupid to the very core.
@meccaturbo - Here Noble & Cooley makes solid shell drums, been in business since 1854 and according to you are the best drums ever to hit the streets, yet Yamaha drums founded in 1967 has the most recorded drums ever in music history the Recording Customs and Ludwig has the most recorded snare in history the Supra. I starting to think you feel 2 inches tall right now can you see the pain? Go look in the mirror I'll wait................
@meccaturbo - Where do you think Noble & Cooley lost control? They started in 1854 113 years before Yamaha and Ludwig was founded in 1908 so that's 54 years they have over Ludwig and still Yamaha and Ludwig smoke there ass like Salem on a grill? Maybe if they had, had more dummies like you back in 1854 they might have made it today. Speaking of today Noble & Cooley have how many endorsements? 15 and they been in business since 1854...LMFAO I think Sunlite drums even have more endorsements
@meccaturbo - And yet you can't even afford the most recoded drums in history. It's not because they suck it's because you just plain out can't afford quality drums. History baby that's what Yamaha made and if you want to talk about who can't afford something what's the name of your computer again?
@meccaturbo - Yeah well I think musicians all over the world would disagree with you're stupid theory and since Yamaha is the most recorded drums in musical history and since Yamaha Drums was founded in 1967 and Noble & Cooley was founded in 1854 I think the quality speaks for it's self on how has the better sound. Say it with me and this time love it Yamaha Recording Customs.
@meccaturbo - And here's an added ass kicking Noble & Cooley can't even claim to have the most recorded snare drum in music history either that goes to the Ludwig Supra, so I fail to see any leg you have to stand on. Damn they been in business since 1854 what do you think happened?
@meccaturbo - So just like before your argument is a no win situation. I'm totally not impressed with Noble & Cooley and apparently I'm not the only one that thinks there sound is off. The most important part of a recording is the sound and when it comes to drums it has been proven hands down across the globe who has the better sound. I don't even need to say the name no more because it's one of those things any professional drummer could answer on the drop of a dime......Yamaha
@meccaturbo - Hooked into my 200 dollar sound card which is connected to my $550 dollar motherboard which host my $1000 CPU and $1500 video cards and my $389 dollar memory. What some more?
@predatorxocw Yep, Wal Mart's website sure comes in handy for looking up computer prices on the fly, and then inflating those prices by 200% before you post them here. We know you shop at the finest stores, and tell the tallest tales.
@meccaturbo - Sales base has nothing to do with how Yamaha creamed jizz all over Noble & Cooley's face in drums. Yamaha beat Noble & Cooley with quality not quantity so sorry to disappoint your retard theory once again. Face it you own nothing good which is why you're the only one that thinks that Noble & Cooley are the bomb when Yamaha has the most recorded drums in history. See that say's a lot right there about quality.
@meccaturbo - Quality gets you just what Yamaha acheived which is THE MOST RECORDED DRUMS IN HISTORY, while quantity got Noble & Cooley jackshit. I say quantity because over the course of 113 years prior to Yamaha showing up and teaching them how it's done they had more drums on the market verses Yamaha. Yamaha taught them a very valuable lesson which I'm sure they still feel the sting from today. Hell even Ludwig socked it to them LMFAO
@meccaturbo - The prrof is all over the world numbnuts. Yamaha is the most recorded drums in history and Ludwig has the most recorded snare drum in history. History says that Noble & Cooley was founded in 1854 and Yamaha Recording Customs where the price of a new car back when they came out so that just goes to prove if they became the most recorded drums in history it wasn't because they where the cheapest or fastest to get. 6 Month waiting list sweetpee to get a set. Now STFU you have nothing
@meccaturbo - Maybe Sony has sold more speakers then Klipsch, yet they don't hold any record for being the best sounding. Much like Noble & Cooley they might have produced more product, but they got spanked by more experience.
@meccaturbo - Just face the facts chicken neck your flying on a plane that has no wings and we all know the outcome......crash and burn, yet you still insist to talk.
@meccaturbo - Sounds to me like you got a set of Sony speakers how's that been working out for you? Do they sound good plugged up into that Dell Pentium 3 running Windows ME? Can you say time for an upgrade?
@meccaturbo - see that's why it takes you forever to reply back, you want to reply sooner, but your old ass shitbox of a computer doesn't see the new replies made for over ten minutes because you still have to use dial-up connection. I bet you still AOL all over the place too......LMFAO Get a real computer, a real drum set, a real life then come back and see me. Until then keep on trying to squeeze more out of the 56K dial-up connection over their.
@meccaturbo - Oh and your sad attempt at trying to be funny is even worse. Spare us the displeasure of having to listen to that diarrhea spewing from your mouth which is covered with canker-sores. It's pretty damn clear you have no idea what you're talking about. I've wasted enough time gabbing with your low life type. Now go get a new friend because I'm finished embarrassing you.
@meccaturbo - So until you get some drums that actually are worth braggin about clam up and just take the pain and heart break. So you got taken for an idiot on that Noble & Cooley snare, so the sales guy saw you coming a mile away, get over it. One day you're get an unemployment check that will be enough for you to place a down payment on a set of Recording Customs and then you can join the family of proud musicians. Now take yourself to bed and spare yourself the grief.
@meccaturbo - I mean after all I wouldn't want you to slap your 67 year old wife around the trailer tonight when she comes home from working the graveyard shift at Wal-Mart because you got on here trying to act badass and got shut the f**k down.
@meccaturbo - So keep typing away on your shitty Dell with its flickering screen in a sad attempt to try and make sense when you lost this conversation way back there.
@meccaturbo - And I also think most any professional drummer would agree my 20+ year old Yamaha Recording Customs sound better than any new wood drums made today. In fact they are made from older wood that has 20 + years age to it, so bring it on cupcake I'd like to see you battle it out in a studio session with me against my sweet ass perfectly aged Recording Customs. I'd walk the dog on your sound so bad you'd leave in tears. So look up those numbers sweetpee and get disappointed again
@meccaturbo - So don't come in here trying to brag about things you don't have because I could buy Noble & Cooley snares all day long where as you can't. Like I said if you had any kind of drum kit you wouldn't have such a problem listing the model numbers on here to prove it. I listed mine and why did I list mine because they are right here where I can easily read them. You don't have any which is why you can't list them. Like I said waste of time so talk to yourself

@meccaturbo - Hooked into my 200 dollar sound card which is connected to my $550 dollar motherboard which host my $1000 CPU and $1500 video cards and my $389 dollar memory. What some more?
predatorxocw 1 year ago
@predatorxocw Yep, Wal Mart's website sure comes in handy for looking up computer prices on the fly, and then inflating those prices by 200% before you post them here. We know you shop at the finest stores, and tell the tallest tales.

@meccaturbo - Yeah well I got a video of my rig sister so go check it out then come back in here and cry some more.

See that say's a lot right there about quality.
predatorxocw 1 year ago

@meccaturbo - I bet you're the type of person that does a lot of pissing in the wind don't ya?
