DON'T take Glyburide if you've been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. Glyburide hasn't been approved by the FDA for use in pregnancy, and has been shown in at least one study to have adverse effects in baby rats. Insulin, however, has been proven to be 100% safe for pregnancy. So, if you can't control your Gest Diabetes with diet, please just take insulin.
