If your going to add extended scenes, special effects and sounds, then why not improve the first Death Star battle. 1:30 After knowing it is made airfix model kits stuck onto a dozen pin pong tables it sort of takes away the magic from this scene.

Wish they would replace the puppet yoda in episode I, V and VI with the CGI Yoda, its just looks weird that he changes in like every other movie, then I wish they'd make the lightsaber and blaster effects of the original trilogy to be made up to par with the effects of the prequel trilogy and maybe some deleted scenes like Yoda landing on Dagobah in Revenge of the Sith should be added into the actual movies

I've always had concern for the visual discrepencies between original and prequel trilogies. And though I think the original is a far better collection of films, since the prequels I've resented their dated look. Instead of spending millions on restoring adding in more things and remastering the originals it just occured to me, I'd be more than happy for the prequel trilogy to be made to look worse.
I think the only way I might buy the Star Wars Blu-Ray is if the original footage is an option on it, you know Han shooting first etc, I mean Blu-Rays do have more storage space than regular DVD's it could be fit on there. DTS 7.1 sound would be nice too, or at the very least 5.1, c'mon George, the original footage being released in 2.0 on DVD was a big :-P

Star Wars is proof you don't have to have bad language or graphic violence to make great films. There isn't one curse word in the whole series and it's one of the most successful series of films of all time, maybe ever.

I loved the part when the cylons blew up everything and I thought Muffet was simply adorable. And in the end when those cute teddy bears over threw the galactic federation. I don't ask much for the Blu-ray release. I would be reasonably satisfied if you just went to the effort to fix the colour-correction errors of the 2004 DVDs, especially Luke's green sabre in IV.

I'm sick of people slating the prequels. Episode one, yes, is poor. it's actually hard to watch all the way through. But two and three are pure entertainment all the way. Just take them for what they are which is basically a spin-off from the originals.
The only good thing to come out of the prequels was the Emperor in Episode 3.
Everything else was completely lifeless. The whole trilogy was summed up by the absurd, soulless and utterly boring saber fight between Anakin and Kenobi.
I sure hope that with the blue-ray release those terrible looking lightsaber battles from episode 4 and 5 will be re-done. In Episode 4 when Luke ignites Anakins lightsaber for the first time it looks just terrible, moments later when they are on board the millenium falcon it is green, then white and then blue. Also the lightsaber battle between Obi and Darth looks terrible...If fans can remake great lightsaber-battles then why can't lucasarts do that....

I sure hope that with the blue-ray release those terrible looking lightsaber battles from episode 4 and 5 will be re-done. In Episode 4 when Luke ignites Anakins lightsaber for the first time it looks just terrible, moments later when they are on board the millenium falcon it is green, then white and then blue. Also the lightsaber battle between Obi and Darth looks terrible...If fans can remake great lightsaber-battles then why can't lucasarts do that....
