@utaman408 Try adjusting the hopup. If that doesn't work, get a New barrel or clean yours. If the Barrel has dirt Inside, it gets inaccurate.

the two things you had wrong with your gun were not a problem on mine...the grip is a pvc pipe type material (very rugged), and the stock can hold me putting it on my knees with at least 5 text books on it (i didnt try more) so you must have gotten either the bad egg...or the wood grip version sucks donkey ass!

ok. I REALLY need to know if this gun will NOT jam, will NOT break for a while, and is reliable. I have gone through 2 airsoft guns in 5 months; a crosman r76, and a jg m16a3. I AM PISSED. My jg broke today after using it for 4 days. The trigger jammed. my crosman lasted a week. I dont know wat happened. So, i need to know, is this ak74 worth buying, and is cyma trustworthy. I have been looking at this gun for a while now and i don't want to be dissapointed again. Any help would be appreciated.

@xpozd2radar you probably should just get your JG fixed, because you probably did something stupid to it that is way easy to fix, but it sounds like you dont have much experience so bring it in to an airsoft store. It will be much cheaper than a whole new gun

@KCDZfilms well, i let go of the trigger mid-pull, and then it jammed. I took apart the WHOLE THING, and couldnt find anything. Then when i put it back together the battery was screwed. So i'm gonna avoid the hassle.

I have one of those and charged the battery to full two weeks ago, performed flawlessly giving a great rate of fire. I took out the battery and left it in the box. Yesterday I took put it back in the gun but the all the cm035 did was make a clicking sound, then fired two extremely loud shots, was quiet ever since (no it wasn't on safe I've fired real aks b4, and the gun is stock didn't do anything except tighten a few screws) airsoft pros, help?

I remember I converted my AKS-74UN into an airsoft gun and finding the right size and suitable gears and stuff was hard as hell but 3 months and $357 later did it pay off? A little, but at least it's interchangeable for actual shooting and war games for airsofting. I thought CYMA was low quality stuff though

The AK74 magazines were NEVER made out of Bakelite!!!!

NEVER!

The original mags were made out of Polyethylene and the newer mags are made out of ABS

the only Bakelite part on an AK74 is the pistol grip

P.S. There is another difference, in the AK-47, there is a gas tube above the beginning of the barrel, but in the AKS-74U there isn't. And the AKS-74U has a MP5 style notch on the barrel for aiming.

There is a pretty great deal of difference between the AKS-74U and your normal run of the mill AK-47.

The AKS-74U is much shorter and has a folding stock.

The AK-47 is a full length rifle, solid stock.
