What is with the people bitching about hadoken use by Daigo? Dhalsim is the worst matchup for Ryu because getting in on him is extremely hard. Hadokens zone Dhalsim and Daigo used them extremely effectively. You think it's all nooby and spammy but if you went into this match as Ryu and tried to win without using hadokens you'd get fucked up.

Besides that, daigo is smart to perfectly time hadokens and trade hits with dhalsim's normals. Gives ryu a slight edge due to the fact hadokens have slightly more hit power than dhalsim's normals.

@zakoogaroo Dont comment if you dont know anything about pro street fighter matches. He uses Hadouken because dhalsim can hand to hand without getting in close. A projectile attack is the best way to defend against it.

if these are two of the top players in the world, then it is no wonder that online SSF4 is such a game a cat of mouse.

The cats being the ones the actually want to have enjoyable fights and put the quality of the fights ahead of their rank, and the mice being the ones who choose shoto and sit on the far right/left of the screen, spamming fireballs/dragon punches and laughing manically as they make their way to S Rank.

@rophnpwaul I don't know if you've ever watched some of Daigo's other fights but it's not all about long range attacks... He's playing the way he's playing due to the fact that his opponent is a long distance fighter... You can clearly see that Daigo tries to get close several times to make other combos but Sabin keeps blocking him and sending him back to the other side of the arena... This match was far from the most exciting, but you still can't judge Daigo's skill from just this one match...
