Crocodiles is awesome, and so is Reverberation...the album (from 1990) that didn't have Ian McCulloch in the project at all...still some great songs...check out 'false goodbyes' from that latter album..you'll thank me....not a single, but should've been IMHO. I don't think that Echo ever did anything i disliked. every song on "songs to learn and sing' are just classics.
Great song and video from 120 minutes, the blonde chick at 2:25 looks like she's having a great time holding on to the stage. I love new wave/alternative girls!
@LadyStardust876 You're right, her make-up is like Souxsie Soux. Check out Souxsie's video of Spellbound, her look is unforgettable and the song is awesome as well! I love it!
I can't remember which DVD you can rent from netflix (I think there are at least 2 or 3) but on one of the newer concerts they have some old original videos from the 80s and this is one of them. It's also my favorite Echo song.
One question: Does anyone know where this version of the song can be found? I have the remastered version of the "Echo & the Bunnymen" album which features two versions of this song and neither of them sounds like this (I really like this version though).
@AlbanianMan yup, and you can tell by the way the song credits are in white at the bottom left of the screen at the end, and a human league song was next.
Again, yes, they'll be playing in Liverpool in December.
I replied beachgal26 but my message is gone. They're still active and you can find the info on their website, which is bunnymen and the . and then com. I wrote it with blank spaces instead of dots but the message is not here at all. ???
I'm holding now an original copy of this album from 1987 and it says "Produced by Gil Norton and EATB" except track nº 11, produced by Laurie Latham. Ray Manzarek did play keyboards, though.
Don't know where my reply went! Anyway here it is again: They keep on touring, their new album is out, go to bunnymen com for more info on dates and venues
Just getting into these, bought 4 of their albums the other day, only listened to 2 because i bought a load of Joy Division, New Order, Gang of Four and Cure aswell! But Crocodiles is one mint album!
have vague memories of seizing control of tv to watch whistle test session of this, though could be wrong. it's mixed in a blur of crackers and cheese suppers and late night players no 6 x
This is a brilliant song alltogether. Sounds as if the tempo is up just a bit from the album version though.

What a line-up this was! Echo and the Bunnymen's original group was simply amazing, especially the rhythm section.

For me, it sounds like Echo & the Bunnymen took some inspiration from the madchester scene here. Great song, it has a great rhythm hook on it.

Doors were a major influence for these guys. They cover quite a bit of doors stuff too.

What? Ray was the keyboardist for the Doors, not Echo and the Bunnymen.
