I miss him so much! He didn't lead me to the way I think about war and government like so many others nor did he inspire me to become a history major. What he did do for me was let me know I wasn't alone in this thinking. He died on my birthday, the day I discovered him. :( RIP Howard. We march on. <3

God Bless you Dr. Zinn. Thank you for all of your wonderful work. I thank you for showing this other side of history. People say Dr. Zinn was a negative nancy but that's not true. There are great stories of triumph and courage and love in our country's history and to simply deny them to add to our mythology is something that cannot be excused because it robs us of our character
