the main theme/riff which starts at 0:17 is used by L Shankar in one of the songs on Celestial Body, which he made with "Gingger" [who is??]. The track is Open your eyes, and the theme starts at 0:40.
Touch Me There is a wonderful synthesis of the virtuosities of both F Zappa and the young L Shankar - and raunchy as hell! I was so lucky to be given this in 1980!
Celestial Body is much more mature, if you like, the same energy is converted to pure joy of life!

I already said it about another track ... but this intro would almost have me thinking I was listening to a tune offa Joe's Garage.

There's so much Zappa in this album that I always used to refer to it as as being what Frank might have done had he gone strictly commercial.
It goes to one of the many "Zappa Trademarks" at 7mins 12 secs

He also recorded an ablbum with my friend Mark Murdock and Brand X bassist Percy Jones in the early 80s.
This is one of my favorite tracks of all time. Thanks for posting it.

I loved flying out on the freeway at that point in the song and just flat out push it.
