umm, my xbox is or was a lot 0744 with 175W and never got the rrod but broke because of the E74 which i think was caused by the new dashboard download, but because of the E74 i got a free 3 year warranty and im waiting for my shipping label to get here so i can send it in. Can anybody shed some light on this like what my xbox will come back as and if i get free xbox live or something.

it makes no fucking difference its the same shit the gpu and cpu are the same shit just the power supply has less wats wich makes it stop from overheating issues if you play your 360 the thermal paste on the gpu will fucking melt off cause freezing problems and the fucking x clamps will become loose and that means your fucking 360s gpu fucks up and you get 3 red rings it makes no difference if your xbox is falcon unless microsoft makes a whole new gpu and fucking gets new hardware peace.

my friend has had his xbox since it was first released, the main idea to not getting rrod is to maintain your xbox and dust the area around it well, keep it in a well spaced area and you should be alright. Ps3 is better in that aspect among others, but i still bought an elite.
