The reasons i found this offensive was because it seemed the source of his ridicule was from ignorance, and ridicule from ignorance is not fair.

For one i believe that what really makes a man is his capacity for empathy and compassion. This is what makes humans human and not a machine or animal.

Secondly, there are so many alternatives to anything that is not vegan. There are vegan eggs, vegan milk, vegan chicken nuggets. Everyday i eat a hamburger.
