My better half is a kiwi musician and we're arranging a benefit gig here in Wales to raise money for the people in Christchurch. We're hoping to use this song, so I've been looking at all the different versions of it. I have to tell you, this is by far my favourite, it's spine tingling. The harmonies are perfect, what a beautiful song. Well done!
@trulyunrulys The people of christchurch need and will appreciate your efforts thank you. It is a amazing song and one we are proud of every male sings with song to his daughters nieces and granddaughters as i do and because of this they all learn it through osmosis, rarely taught yet known by all. That is absolutely $%£^&!^ fabulous! You need to be getting in touch with a record producer or studios and see if you can get a deal. Better still, send a demo CD off to Radio New Zealand or TVNZ.
Trust me. You guys are better than I could have wished. A beautiful rendition of a very mellow and gentle lullaby.

Damn this song reminds me of the closing Kiwi on TV!
... back in the days when TV finished at midnight, stores closed at lunchtime on a Saturday and Sunday was a day off for everyone......
Nice to see other cultures embracing ours.
