  • This is cool. Wonder if you could mesh the LED wrist bands with the "truth sensor", to light up when youre working up a sweat - indicate visual reward for workouts :)

  • this bitch is so pretentious, the model was hot which was nice but overall this was retarded 90s rave technology

  • this is from 90s lol. Very much behind philips's wearable technology.

Check it out to see 21. century haha.

  • wouldn't that be annoying?

and how would you wash your clothes if they had electric doodads in them?

  • If you dry them before you turn them on it will be fine. Once I forgot my pendrive on the laundry machine. It still worked after. Of course it is not a good practice, but it proves a point. It is a valid idea, but not a perfect one

  • @BITCHSHITCUNTFUCK

Yeah, if you listened you'd know that she said the electronics are removable.

  • That's cool. Wereable sensors and speakers could be used as an alarm if someone pick pocket you.

  • actually nice idea ! someone should do

  • you make the clothes i'll help market ...let me know.... you have a grass root technlongy in your hands ...keep up the grate work... dream big.

  • err..... shut up..

  • pretty neat. :D

  • What a beautiful and intelligent lady!

  • like that chic making those noises while walking in the park.

thats so dumb, its annoying and retarded.

can u imagine ur at a store in a line waiting to buy something then some random chic starts making retarded noises

    dumb

  • what if it starts to rain?

or u get pushed into a pool?

or... what if u get struck by lighting for being a dumbass and having batteries on ur clothes???????

  • like all the people who are struck because of the batteries in watches.. or cell phones.

  • don't forget ipods

  • justin1234go, hdawg51099 , epic FAIL. Are you all seriously gullible enough to believe that crap?

  • aww i like the beginning of little bit by lykke li added the the suit

  • I think this is the beginning of something that could end up being used a lot, but not quite there yet. It's cool how some innovation can lead to experimenting in cool ways and coming up with some unique things- even if it's not in the larger scheme of things lol. Neat to think about though.

  • I truly believe that most of these products are completely pointless, useless, and just plain stupid. Sorry.

  • Of course they are, most of these things are just for hobbyists and collectors.

Just like making model planes, collecting dolls, and playing video games. Totally useless, but fun!

  • I can see some cool applications with this, however the sound playing garments are pretty annoying. Just what our attention deficit society needs is more (and cheap quality) flashing lights and sounds. The handbag that lights up completely when your phone rings is also a cool idea, but would hinder one's going to the movie theatre.

  • That was kinda kewl

  • I agree with a lot of comments below me! haha I think that they have said it all for me. lol It's like they read my mind.

  • this was neat

  • my girl would love the led bracelets

  • I bit nerdy but yeah x)

  • how do they wash that???

  • um... i guess it would b on a jacket or in a waterproof seal.

  • nuter

  • this is the start of smart clothing

  • i hope the bad economy wont harm make at all

  • 8:37 best part!

  • lol

  • +1 so pointless

  • oh yes why would I wear any of that crap

  • Nobody told u to wear them, besides it's just 1 thing, you can put pretty much anything in ur clothes if u are creative enough!

  • Comment removed

  • i like the LED eyepatch :-p

  • best eye patch ever

  • I just can't get over the fact that you think technology is adding a speaker and some LED's to clothing. This is one of the worst videos from make. there is no technology involved here. you are using electronics that have been around for 100 years and awkwardly adding them to clothing to make noises and lights. This is stupid.

  • Actually, this would be considered technology, and LEDs and speakers have not been around for over 100 years. Thumbs up for the try though.

  • Electroluminescence was discovered in 1907 by the British experimenter H. J. Round of Marconi Labs, using a crystal of silicon carbide and a cat's-whisker detector. Russian Oleg Vladimirovich Losev independently created the first LED in the mid 1920s; his research was distributed in Russian, German and British scientific journals but no practical use was made of the discovery for several decades.

Good try though, maybe do some research when telling someone they are wrong.

  • ROFL! So if you put an LED on your clothes, you have smart clothing. lol, man this is rich. How fucking retarded

  • It was so funny listening to these 2 ditzy girls try to talk like they are smart and know about technology. I lol'd the entire video. You are 2 of the dumbest girls I have ever seen.

  • 0:40 what are those 2 things ??

  • Wackjob

  • Smart chick

  • Interesting... But how will you wash your clothes now?!!

  • they dont haha

  • i think i'm in love....

  • 6:45 Her assistant is really hot.. well her too. Either way they can could both syuzi my pakhchyan.

  • touch me i make noises, lol i would touch her

  • cool but pointless =///// but stilll cool it'll be cool if it could detect your walking pace and give you like a theme song as you walk lmao id buy it!! =)

  • These are pointless, but there are many applications that are more handy. My friend has a shirt that detects wifi signals.

My city has changed the bus passes to use little chips. so you can pass your wallet or bag over the scanner when you get on the bus/subway instead of actually having to take the card out. I cut the chip out of my card and put it into my watch strap.

The audio recording clothes is absolutely stupid and pointless though.

  • well done lady...

  • SWEET!

make a steam boy looking jacket would look nice

    5/5

  • at school you ge3t your mp3 player taken away, how bout a pencil shaped mp3 player, tuck it behind your ear

  • WOW!

    That is super cool!

  • weird O.o

  • OHHH BLACK NAIL PAINT,I LOVE IT <3

  • That's exactly what I thought

I love girls with black nail paint

  • it seems like it would get really anoying

  • now I want to go buy conductive fabric :) god knows I have enough LEDs and random parts laying around

  • I WANT TO MARRY HER.

  • lol...

  • wow as i was watching i thought that i was watching tv...

  • Maker Profile - Wearable Technology on Make: TELEVISION

But your right. I do get that sense of watching TV!

  • The photocromatic ink is so cool but also seems kinda useless.

  • the photochromatic inks seem interesting

  • love it!!

make a beat as u wate or walk home

    coo

    love LEDs!!!

  • why would you want your clothes to make sounds???

  • 0_0! Seems cool

  • she seems like a smart girl, and I do think that it has a great market in the near future. Though maybe not as obvious as leds, but the call receiver/noticer is pretty sweet

  • cool
