Sir, that was an excellent version of the song! In fact, one of the best versions I've heard in my life. The first time I heard it was on a Bobby Bare album... Was it "Margie's at the Lincoln Park inn"? Probably. And you speak of Johnny Darrell. Loved his stuff and maybe my favorite album of his was "With Pen in Hand". Damn, we need to talk brother! Or sing or write or whatever! Wish you were my neighbor. Once again, fantastic... really moved me.
