I feel for you, man. I've been experiencing a host of problems myself. Maybe if I spent as much time working with video, I'd have all of your problems on top of mine. If Apple wants to maintain their "it just works" reputation, they'd better get all these problems worked before Windows 7 comes out. Because Windows 7 has been in Public-Beta-Land for a year now so it could come out with fewer problems than Snow Leopard did. I'm keeping my finger crossed that Apple will get their shit together.

I have gone ahead and reinstalled it and found Quicktime 7 in the Optional Installs folder. I need to make a new video.
