  • This game is one of those I consider art

  • im looking forward to bioshock infinite but bioshock 1 will always be that special game

  • @MrIlovegamez

Agreed. I miss the 1 feel. I liked 2 but I found it much more depressing that rapture is gone.

  • Frank Fontaine and Atlas disliked the video.

  • and once again, we wish you at rapture a happy new year- Andrew ryan 1959 RAPTURE FOR EVER

  • I Just Love The Little Sisters In The Game C: Oh, And Does Anyone Think Its Wierd That Im 13 And I Play This? LOL I Beat Bioshock 2 In Two Days C: Its So Fun(:

  • @HerrowKittehx3

The age doesn't matter to play Bioshock, as long as you understand the game :)

  • @HerrowKittehx3 Honestly doesn't matter how old you are whilst playing the game. As long as you enjoy it, and embrace the story, etc.

  • Thumbs up if you couldnt even harvest one Little Sister. I know I couldn't.

  • @DJReam28 Bioshock 2, you rescue them untill they give you the tonic that gives more adam per harvest... then harvest for the rest of the game.... MAXAMUM ADAM!!!!

  • @DJReam28 I harvested them after a glitch in Minerva's Den that made them cry, even after picking them up. If I hadn't killed Steinman in the first, I would have thrown the crying little girl to him.

  • beautiful BEAUTIFUL!

  • I'm Andrew Ryan and I am here to ask you a question. Should there really be another sequel to this awesome game?

No, says the game trolls, This game already sucked.

No, says the fanatics. This game is already good enough.

No, says the Irrational Game's creator, Ken Levine. But we're gonna create one anyway!

  • @ThePieMaster219

Infinite is not the sequel to Bioshock.....

  • @zeonmx "Noun. sequel (plural sequels)

1.(narratology) A narrative that is written after another narrative set in the same universe, especially a narrative that is chronologically set after its predecessors, or (perhaps improper usage) any narrative that has a preceding narrative of its own." -Wiktionary

    Pretty sure it's a sequel.

  • @blank21121 @zeonmx Infinite is a prequel. Which is a sort of sequel.

  • @ThePieMaster219 ROFL XD you're hilarious

  • @ThePieMaster219 xDDDDD

    Love this post! :)

    Cheers chup!

  • @PCigrach Thanks man u too! :)

  • @ThePieMaster219 So Ken Levine did that, and then he chose something else, he chose the impossible! He chose... Bioshock: Infinite.

  • Bioshock is a masterpiece. All who call it "a dinosaur, some old game with shitty graphics"... May shot themselves. World will be better without them.

  • Actually, to everyone talking down to the future skies of Infinite, consider that Ken Levine, the mastermind behind this game, is involving himself with Infinite's development. He is a great writer and designer. He is partially why Bioshock was better than Bioshock 2. :]

  • @ASleeplessWolf I'm not going to trashtalk on infinite, I already made that mistake once when I thought Bioshock 1 would suck, and it is now one of my favorites, but they'll still make a 3rd bioshock right. Interested to see how infinite ties into bioshock, columbia to rapture.

  • So fucking beautiful...

  • I love bioshock because of the setting/theme of rapture i will have to see if infinite even comes close to it.

  • they shuld make bioshock 3 instead of infinite...

  • What do hear in this song, the sorrow of uncountable deaths and the despair of an idea that gave birth to the city Rapture; but also, the joy that a savior is amongst these harrowing halls, one that can bring an end to the cruel fortune of this once majestic place.

  • @HaHa552552 your comment deserves lots of thumbs up. Too bad mine don't register for some reason.

  • Dear Youtube, Would you kindly remove the dislike button?

  • why do i see rapture when this music plays then i see delta eleanor killing her mother then delta dead?

  • @SoimulArgint or if you are good you see her saving here mum but delta still dies DX

  • @cptmawsome depends on what ending you got, in the best ending he's body dies but she absorbs he's adam so that he can live "trough" her

  • I wonder if INFINITE will have the same composer for it. Love this soundtrack always beautiful, emotional, and eerie all at the same time. I love it.

  • @oldskoolrocker1000 the thing is, infinite is supposed to give us a different feeling than eerie, from what ive been able to gather, itll be more awe than eerie ness

  • this man make the scariest kind and most beautiful kinds of music

    Awesome

  • while i listen this song i thoght for one little moment that rapture was real O.O i love the world of rapture

  • I wish it was longer!

  • two people were asked kindly by atlas

  • two people were controlled by atlas

  • i like the violin(s) :P

  • 2 parasites slaves did not obey

  • This piece is soooo creative and nice! In the beginning, it's like a reality where you afraid of all these things, but then you start to enter some dreaming phase where you realize that all those things that you were afraid of, weren't so scary at all! Finally near the end it brings you back to the scary reality xD

  • i met a girl tht plays this and god yes

  • W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L

  • This game is so...wonderfull

  • Hey Everybody! I have just released my new electronic album “Sub-Zero” which is heavily inspired by the world and music of the Bioshock game series. If you're interested you can listen to the full album on my youtube channel, as well as download the album for free!

  • @mopdop400 Atlas rules, Fontaine sucks (make sense of that)

  • 2 slaves...

  • Bioshock induced the feeling that all gamers are searching for; enveloping its players into a world distinct from their own. Home, if not hell.

  • Andrew Ryan disliked this video

  • @Velociraptorblade

    No. "Atlas" did...

  • wow ... Reminds me at the ending of bioshock 2 ... i cried at the end of bioshock 2

    really !

  • Comment removed

  • @Sankuraler that could be partly because this plays at the end of Bioshock 2 :)

  • There is no other game i have ever felt so immersed in, no other game i have ever fell in love with the story like this, no other game that awakes such a real emotion inside of me, there is no other like bioshock

  • "It maight be just me but I'll be damned if anyone ever heard of this Atlas fellow before Fontaine went tits up! ~someone in bioshock 2

  • a parasite has made his way to this video!

  • @Otakumano I haven't played the game but I hit it anyway. :D

  • Perfectly suits the underwater "city of dreams".

  • 1 Dislike? Who are you, one of the Big Daddies?

  • When i killed Ryan, i cried. I thought it was the end... but when i discovered that Atlas is Frank, i was like "wtf?? O_o".

But when i killed Frank... i cried again...

  • Frank Fontaine himself disliked this.

  • 1 person, Frank Fontaine. Thats the one timbs down.

  • Beautiful ... ;))

  • this game is up there with Final Fantasy 7 for me.....

  • Everything related to BioShock is a FUCKING MASTERPIECE. This game is wonderful.

  • Where can I download this piece?

  • Just finished Bioshock 1, now that I know there are different endings, I NEED TO PLAY IT AGAIN. DANG IT!

  • Would you kindly hit the like buton?

  • @otakumano Yes please, everybody, HIT IT! :D

    Cheers

  • @PCigrach hit it? i'll spank it baby! :P

  • @3DTyrant Bring it ON..BITCH! ; )

    <3

  • @PCigrach *spanks the like button* awww yeeeeeh, shall i twist my nipples too? lol

  • @3DTyrant This is getting slightly akward.

  • @otakumano THE MAN CHOOSE THE SLAVE OBBEY!!!!

  • Bioshock is one of the best games ever created, the music brings you into almost a different realm. While freaky in some spots, the music makes you feel.... happy...

  • You also hear this when you rise to the surface at the end of bio2. Its so beautiful. You hang on the pod, and you look down, and see rapture beneath you, while you rise. Its incredible.

  • and then father, the Rapture dream was over. You taught me that 'evil' is just a word. Under the skin, it's simple pain. For you, mercy was victory. You sacrificed, you endured, and when given the chance, you forgave. Always. Mother believed this world was irredeemable, but she was wrong, Father. We are Utopia, you and I, and in forgiving, we left the door open for her.

  • @theuberninja262 I hear those words everytime I listen to this song. :)

  • they told me.... "son, you're special, you were born to do great things..." you know what? they were right.

  • it chills my spine. one of the best scores for video games. compares to that of max payne

  • sounds like a track from ed wood movie .. bioshock is a great game

  • the part from 0:18 t'ill 1:40 is probably the most beautiful music ever...

  • @finalkamehamehaflash No, that is close, but the absolute most beautiful music is Lauren WInter's theme from Heavy Rain. SO pretty, great cords.

  • @paulkdragonmaster2 Special like you ! "your", duuuh, is it your or you're, I don't know, I'm retarded, duuph.

  • @Ryuuken24 Grammar is so hard these days

  • they told me son...your special you know what? they were right..

  • depressing but seems to symbolise raptures ineer beauty and morbid sense of happyness

  • didn really notice it in the first bioshock, but it came up when the ending of bioshock 2 came up, where elanor decided to kill or not to kill lamb...everyhtin synched up perfectly and its the most beautiful and the most awesome moment of videogame history..this piece deserves an award

  • I wish I could live in Rapture.

  • Whenever I hear this song, I can't help but pity Andrew Ryan sometimes. although he has a very twisted way of thinking and he's responsible for many of the deaths of Rapture's citizens, this is a man who tries to do something great but ultimately fails from it, thus bringing his beloved city to ruin and his own death.

This is truly an amazing game that is unlike any other.

  • Voice: I came here to built the impossible while you came here to steal what you could never have!

  • GOOD SONG :D

  • i agree with Taylor

  • i agree with xXTaylorXx94

  • Masterpiece of a game and OST

  • simply beautiful

  • Thumbs up for who wants a extended version?

  • 2k should own the fucking world for makng this game with its awesome music and good storyline -_-

  • ahh.... this song is sooo gorgeous!! :'(

  • The music is so awesome and so sad, rapture a city with a very long and a hard past.

Rapture was a good city but the human has destroyed it :(

  • @Ashocka1 Uhhhhhh Humans built the damn thing, blame Fontaine and Ryan of all people.

  • Wow, it's so beautiful...and so sad. First time I heard this I was nearly crying...^-^

  • sweet

  • Creepy but nice!

  • I just can't get over how hauntingly beautiful this is.

The sound track completely brought this game to life for me, bringing fourth emotions that I was actually able to feel.

I love Bioshock with all my heart, but I'm not being biased when I say that this OST is the best one I've ever heard.

  • This song almost brought me to tears during the game.. poor Atlas..

    Ffff, yeah right.. D-bag..

  • i am in love witth the soundtrack for bioshock (1 and 2!).

  • nice music i love 3 music in bioshock series 1. Bioshock 1 Main Theme 2 . empty house 3. Eleanor's Lullabye & pairbond in bishock 2

  • reminds me alot of Tchaikovsky.

  • dood i love this music but i cant find it no where can eanyone help?

  • @109cky2k4

Try looking up a youtube to mp3 convertor.

  • the lone violin...simply beautiful and haunting at the same time

  • Does anyone know the song that plays whenever Andrew Ryan talks to you over the radio?

  • @generalflood "Dancers on a String", it ought to be on here.

  • Beauty is another word, This is heavenly...He is a musical Genius.

  • ear-gasm

  • great songs

  • I love this one!

  • theres gonna be bioshock 3 right?

  • @szetblank yes there is even going to be a movie

  • @oldmusic138 there was but it fell apart, Gore Verbinski was supposed to direct.

  • @oldmusic138 Bioshock the movie will have a big Hype but I doubt it will be amazing, the interactive-ness of the game makes it scary not the game itself

  • @szetblank they`re actually talking about a bioshock 6!

  • @szetblank

No. There has been no talk about Bioshock 3. So i wouldn't get your hopes up.

Aka: I believe this is the final ending of Rapture...

  • @szetblank No. There has been no talk about Bioshock 3. So i wouldn't get your hopes up.

Aka: I believe this is the final ending of Rapture...

  • @Elitecommander0 stop being a smart-ass, as succesful as bioshock1 AND 2 have been, theres no way they would stop making them

  • @Elitecommander0 Actually, they really confirmed BioShock 3 before they even confirmed BioShock 2. 2K referred to the BioShock franchise in 2007 as becoming GTA-like in release structure over the years. By that logic, BS3 is a foregone conclusion. Thematically speaking BS2 is very open to a sequel.

  • @gruntyking117 They never really 'confirmed' it. Just said that if inspiration strikes then they will go for a third game. I don't blame people for being skeptical though, 1 & 2 will be very hard to follow indeed.

  • @szetblank

No. There has been no talk about Bioshock 3. So i wouldn't get your hopes up. Aka: I believe this is the final ending of Rapture...

  • @szetblank y are you even asking that, they just came out with a bioshock2. be more focussed on fallout 4 or fallout new vegas since one of them is coming out in june

  • @szetblank Bioshock Infinite.

  • @szetblank Noo not really, but Bioshock Infinite is coming at 2012 if u didnt know ;)

  • @potatopommittaja9 i think its this year.

  • When i watched the ending i just...sat there...Cryed...Like...a...baby...(sniff) and i dont have the game! =( does anyone know how to get this game without torrent download?

  • Go buy it...it's like 15 bucks

  • Yes. I have the answer! Are you ready?

    BUY IT, MORON.

  • Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?

I'll wrap you in a sheet.

    ALLEGRO! ALLEGRO!

A man chooses, a slave obeys

Mr. Bubbles, why aren't you moving?

  • This game is a Master piece.

  • This is so epic

  • jonhylu@: Too right my friend. Jack's story is epic.

  • this pretty much describes Jack; how his real identity was revealed, how in actuality he is 2-3 years old, how he got that tattoo on his right wrist, and how he his family and home was fake, and when he found out his purpose in rapture, to be bred as a weapon. Jack can only take so much before he cracks.

  • The part about that that is wrong is that is that he is normal aged

  • Awesome

  • ♪♫ WHo wants some adam...i do...i do ♪♫

  • BEAUTIFUL BRAVO BRAVO!!! :D

  • nice start and scarry end

  • This is beautiful.

  • this game was just...awsome,i remember my brother had got it and i watched him play for hours, how i'd leave the room when a big daddy came around or we ran into a splicer(i think thats what their called, sorry i havent played in forever)even though i never got to play the game,i still love it.the music, the plot, the enemies.i hope i one day get to play this game :)

(i/d rate 5/5 but the ratings are disabled, favorited it)

  • great violin.

  • this song has so much emotions in it

    excellent game

hope bioshock two dosent ruin my experience

  • Can someone tell me if there is a place i can still download this? Please

  • This song always churns my emotions :P

If you look at the storyline and the song title

  • Poor Jack! Thrown around by the remains of The Civil War aka Fall of Rapture (BIOSHOCK 2 MULTIPLAYER!!!!)

  • would you kindly send me this?

  • haha nice

  • AHAHAHA! nice

  • This song sometimes puts tears in my eyes. I love this song!

  • @Bouncer9000 yeah definitely, Bioshock is a great game.

  • @Bouncer9000 like when you actually think of the storyline i get a bit emotional, but jus a lil. its like yo ufeel bad for jack but also hate him at the same time.. and man did i feel bad when all i had worked for was because i was being controlled like a puppet.. so " Would you kindly " reply to this.

  • this is just amazing:'(

  • hmmm,I think this would be my favorite song in the soundtrack, because it's kinda creepy, but at the same time it has a sad tone to it,a very well made song if I do say so myself.

  • yeah right halo soundtrack ownz bitches, its already a classic, this is some abstract crap, whatever

  • bliofet , im sorry but those kind of comments only come from ignorant people, 1st martion o donell chose to make the halo 3 ost in suites 2nd how can you compare bioshocks scores to halos is a completely different personality , btw i consider The Ocean on His Shoulders a master piece

  • who else tried saying "
