You know, I was watching the game when he originally did this move, and I was certain he lost control. However after reviewing the goal I am 100% certain he did this move on purpose.

It's brave, because he'd have egg all over his face had Pogge kept the five-hole closed. Almost like the Sedin shootout attempt.

But he scored, and that's all that matters in the end. They don't always have to look pretty ;)
