Orange UFO Over Baton Rouge July 4th 2008

Well, I don't know for sure if it was this, but you guys should know I have lived in BR almost my entire life and my mom and step-dad are professional pyrotechnics. Every graduation in the family, 4th of July, some Christmases and even New Year's we launch off these chinese parachutes we order (possibly not legally?) from overseas. They are about 3 feet high and have an orangy glowing effect, And every time we do it there are ALWAYS UFO sighting reports that night or the for the next few days.

It's a wish lantern. I let one off too. It didn't feel right to celebrate the 4th this year, and my wish was that people would wake up, and speak out against this criminal government...

i live in denmark and i saw the excact same thing! i was walking home from a friends house with a friend and then we saw it then we started running after it but that was no use 1 min after it disapered

omg We saw the same thing in Sweden in Uppsala 31 dec 08 when we were shooting fireworks, i saw 4 or 3 orange spots..

We saw this same light in Baton Rouge on New Years Eve (12/31/2008) about 11 PM CST

I saw exactly the same thing last night - Christmas Day 2008 - here in the UK. Same shape, same colour, same slow movement. Nice to see your footage as we didnt have time to find our video camera.

What you have on tape is the exact same thing I caught in the sky a couple nights ago. We were out driving around looking at xmas lights & I saw this light just hovering in one spot over the road. I kept saying, "What is that!?". No noise, no blinking lights..it appeared round. We turned onto a side street to watch it and then suddenly it flew straight up into outer space in about 10 seconds..the thing was gone. Totally creeped me out and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since.

Look slike a chinese lantern.. Lots of these are seen around fieworks night .

A few were seen here in the UK and have been reported as "ufo's" but they are chinese lanterns :)

The colour and speed of them almost verify this 100%

Youll know when its a real UFO :D trust me :)

But if it's a chinese lantern, why would it be so high up in the sky? And why would it just vanish? My friends saw 15 of them on New Years Eve, and they videoed it. They said that they formed shapes in the sky.

If you do a ufo fireworks search on here you will see others seen a ufo also. I have seen one on the 5th of july 2006 at our towns fireworks before the show and many also saw it. this year 2008 1 was spotted and was a red glowing orb that dimmed into a black object in the sky. doing reseach i have found UFOs do not like things like rockets going in the air. so they were watching to make sure its not a nuke. watch larry king july 18th 2008 show on here.
