I'm surprised Schindler modernized it from when I originally filmed it. The original floor counter never worked when it originally used the GAL buttons, before modernization. I'll post my video of this elevator, showing how it ORIGINALLY looked and ran (although it is not that great, but hey, it was one of my first videos).
@georgef551: Even if this wasn't modded, they should have maintained it better, at least letting the indicator work. It would have been nice if they let that indicator run with the Schindler ACME. I guess we could consider this a "Westyler," considering this was originally a Westy, but modded by Schindler.
This used to be very gentle in acceleration and deceleration, as if it were traction. So smooth, when entering, or leaving the Food Court Level, the glass walls didn't wobble, like they do now.
it should be twice the size. from the sound it rides well. view of the food court adds to the experience. the original floor counter is very different. ram is very clean.
400a??

Westy. Schindler modded it. It would be a 330A-ish redo.
400A are MRL tractions, and 500A are standard (highrise) tractions.

I think the floor counter worked when I was in High School, but that was over 20 years ago, at the least. :)

At least twice the size. This is why a Schindler MT was added in the 90's (or so), near the busiest part of the mall.
Surprised you haven't recorded here. It's not terribly far away from you.
