  • @e84fresh It is? Are you sure about that?

  • @TonyGonzo1988 Yeah it is. It's based off of a gang that was in Detriot called the Chambers Brothers. In the movie they called themselves the Cash Money Brothers. The movie adjusted some things but its largely based on the Chambers Brothers.

  • @Ximon1986

    thanks a lot!

  • With this recession going on and so many people in NYC starting to lose their jobs, I wonder if the crack epidemic stands potential to resurface in NYC's poor neighborhoods again. Seeing young black woman and men strung out on that crack cocaine like you use to see about 22 years ago. Any thoughts on this people, I'm waiting to hear some responses.

  • @Skynetdefensesystems I doubt it simply because people are alot more educated about the results of these drugs. Drug epidemic, maybe, but it won't be crack

  • Respond to this video... Oldie but ALWAYS a goodie

  • Comment removed

  • @Skynetdefensesystems No crack will NEVER come back like it was in the 80's. People don't too muck fuck with crack because most people know the downside. People still do it but it will never be like in the 80's

  • @liacashmere58 I agree, crack became "wack" in popular culture during the 1990's, those of us coming of age in that decade were ingrained with the knowledge that crack is the point of no return so we're much less likely to ever fuck with it.

  • @SuperAdventures

Not nessecarily. I do agree that crack does have a stigma for those of us growing up in the 90's, but just because we had that crack epidemic in the 80's as an example, doesn't mean young people will stray from crack entirely. I mean, cocaine is still a go-to experimental drug for young people, i guess because in a teenagers mind it's much cooler to be a "Coke Head", than a "Crack Head". But, should addiction set in, one natrually want to try the next level of that drug.

  • @STARSAPPHIRE91

Plus, look at heroin as of late. Heroin always had a stigma attached to it, crossing the generations. But it still has outlasting appeal. With the popularity synthetic opiate abuse (Oxycodone), a drug which always was far more expensive on the street than regular heroin, Oxycodone addiction eventually leads to heroin addiction for most. And during a recession i would imagine those numbers would rise considerably.

  • Charlie Sheen Rob Downey Kurt Cobain Lawrence Taylor All Smoke Crack Itll Comeback LOL

  • @PlowThrough8 i thought downey was a heroin addict. he said its like having a shotgun in his mouth and liked the taste of metal, his quote..lol

  • @B4ll4che hewas talkin bout that BASE ROCK

  • @liacashmere58 Crack Cocaine Rulez Yes It Will It Is In South Florida Base Rock Powder WEED And X Pills Plus The Xanax Bars Bitch Ass Fuck

  • @PlowThrough8 Are you a crack baby?

  • @liacashmere58 No But Im Crack Baby FRESH

  • @Skynetdefensesystems shut the hell up..hows that for a response?

  • @Skynetdefensesystems I think the majority of people are aware of the dangers of crack, and certainly the anti-crack campaign the DEA embarked on took a lot of the buyers and sellers off the streets. There's always going to be an issue with drugs in deprived areas, but I don't think it'll ever get as bad as it used to be

  • songname at 4:45 pls?

  • @StayFlyWalk

    Ice T- New Jack Hustler

It's on the right side (look through the video proposals) on this page. Greets

  • @ 0:52 you gotta love the radio insert " The number of poverty wage jobs rose from 1.6 million in 1979 to 2 million in 1984." That is such a lie, and the fact that that it was additional jobs that didnt even exsist in 1979 makes it even funnier"

  • @MrNeotheist ............It's a movie dumb ass. It's fiction. You're suppose to suspend your disbelief. Where are you from, Mars???

  • @chrissline77 This part of the movie was a political diatribe by the director of the film. If it's fiction then do not try to slant the message.

  • @foggy2002..devil

  • CLASSIC CLASSIC CLASSIC CLASSIC CLASSIC CLASSIC CLASSIC CLASSIC...fake ass kids like lil wayne shouldnt be allowed to copy from real early 90's g shit like this...real hip hop...fuck all this new BS...

  • Salam je recherche une chanson de new jack depuis longtemps, le refrain donnait qq chose comme: I give my baby love, night and day. Keep a satisfy and every way. Si qq'un peut m'aider svp!!!!!!! Merci .

  • new york in 1990 is dat legendary shit that will always be talked about, like the ole west.

  • u a murderer nino!! u kill so many people!!!!

  • @foggy2002 calm down bro its only youtube lol

  • @foggy2002 LOL Who do you think manufactures those drugs and bring them into the country. Mexicans, Sicilian mafia, and other south american criminals. Yes you do have some black people who sell drugs and fuck it up for their own community; but it only takes 1 person to make a change. Second the government allows that shit to come in here, they just cover it up. Think about it this way, if someone could actually sneak into our country undetected, U.S would be finished.

  • 6:42 "you kickin' his monkey ass"

    LMAO

  • Ah living at the time of Reagen

  • @TuuttyFuckingFruity lmao.. I know right

  • Droppin that man off the bridge was not too smart......no product, no money,& no potential of collecting. He could've taken the girl. Put her to work, lots of different choices, ways, to get paid. In fact, they could own that M.F. for life. White man in a suit? He could be the front for endless opportunities. But think street level, and thats how high you get in business. Crack was a temp. move by cia. and anyone who stayed in it, died in it, by it, jailed for it. Nino-c ya wouldnt wanna be ya!

  • @translationwiz I think that was about sending a message which is what most people do when they want to be taken seriously. In Nino's case, he had Peruvian connections and ties with Don Armateo's mob. What in the hell could dude in the business suit offer Nino Brown? Nino wasn't a small time crook. He didn't need to favors from that dude. Pay or die. SO he dropped in the water. Makes sense to me. Wasn't a bad choice at all.

  • @translationwiz craziest shit about it is that there is no justice or retribution for what the CIA has done to black people (assassinating Lumumba in '60, experimenting with LSD on black folks during the 70's for their MK-Ultra program during the Cold War, addicting black 'Nam soldiers to finance Air America in Southeast Asia, engineering the crack epidemic in the 80's to finance their illegal wars in South America and the Middle East). The CIA is the most evil organization in the world!!!!!!!!

  • @daTruChosen white people are smart huh. we get away with shit. black people always get caught. lol.

  • @daTruChosen Were you smoking crack when you wrote this?

  • so, see ya

and i wouldnt wanna be ya

    hahaha

  • rock a by baby

  • Probably the best Black gangster movie ever.

Yes I think this movie is better than Boyz N the hood, Menace II Society, Paid in full etc...

  • @JRock005 Boyz N in the Hood was a good movie...and it was based on a TRUE story...can't get better than that

  • "He's kicking his monkey ass!"

  • dumb bitch! why she keep screaming "let him go!" ?? lmao!

  • What's the name of the song when Nino stops by the court to pick up the kid playing basketball?

  • this my fav movie...shit was ill

  • yo wats the name of the shoes that ice t and chris rock are wearing in that

I know theyre adidas but the name of the models

and if anyone knows if theyre good to play some basketball

  • so a black police officer shoots an unarmed black suspect? is this film realistic.

  • @shahideurope actually he was armed... Chris Rock shot at him first

  • @shahideurope The idiot did just rob him and do a runner, was his own stupid fault

  • @shahideurope so if someone ran away with your 14 grand, and the only way you can stop him is by shooting him, you wont do it, if i was in his position in real life hell yea id shoot the motherfucker.

  • @xytsdx2 i don't know the rules in the US but in the UK a police officer is allowed to discharge his weapon only when his life or the life of another is endangered, any other firing of his weapon is illegal.

  • @shahideurope Well back in the 80's and 90's, a great majority of cops were really brutal, they shoot people who ran away with their belongings because you wouldn't get in trouble for it.

  • I was praying for chris rock to get away

  • how come rappers dont say 'kick the ballastics' anymore? lol

  • New Jack City was not based on anything from Detroit or Oakland. The characters in New Jack City were street level crack dealers from Brooklyn who took over a city project. They were Jamaicans. There was no Nino Brown, but these Jamaicans controlled the crack trade in Brooklyn in the early to mid 80's and that's where the idea of the Carter was created.

  • @JimmyNYQUINO You don't have a clue to what you talking about. This was based on the chambers brother from detriot. They were the ones who did the apartment building thing which was the carter. This was even on american gangster. Thats where most of the ideas were for nino and CMB. The chambers brothers

  • holy shit its kangol lol i bet none these kids know what that is now a days

  • I like 2 Live Crew tape when nino come, classic old old school.

  • I remember like it was yesterday when i saw this joint at the movies. I was a kid and this movie will never get old. I wish they still make good black films like this. All we have now are Medea movies. What a waste.

  • just watched the movie.....LOVE IT!!!!! U can tell how talented Chris Rock is...even if he got a small role.....Ice T is also great.....
