Motorola Accompli 008 had this feature and it is from 2001. It had as well a feature to send a SMS to wanted number and at wanted time (so you could be somewhere else at that time without phone).

For Android you can get lots of "fake call" applications and they really are very handy at some situations (not on dates, as you need to be polite and honorable to get out of that kind situations). Just set time, person/number who calls and record own voice or pick template so there comes some voice.

ive got the s3100 and have the same function in my phone

tbh its not v. useful and i get fake calls even when my phone is locked

at first i didnt know what it was and got so frustrated at withheld calls, when id put them on auto reject... is there ANY way of disabling this feature? lol will putting my own number on auto reject stop it?

HAHA! When I first used my Samsung Jet, I kept getting.. Unknown number calling me up! When I picked it up, no one was there! Dumb me! HAHA!

But, I dont know how did it happen.. So it must gotta do with the 'lock' thing!

its not much of a prob reli..the chance of accidently pressing thte fake call while phone is lock is very low..
