Really thank you i thought i was the only one!? it laggs on the menu i cant even click the ps dang i love this game but they need to fix this twice everythig is NEW my ps3 is new and the game dang so lazy on there game deveoplement
People having this problem, If you've installed the game on your hard drive it fixes this problem if you select MW3 out of your MY GAMES section instead of letting it auto run or clicking on the disc tray option on the dashboard
I'm having the same problem just now. It was working fine just a couple of hours ago and thought maybe my xbox was screwing up. I cleared the cache just now and it's back to normal. For those of you who are having problems do this.
1) Go to the main dashboard
2) Go to memory settings (all the way to the right)
3) Highlight the main hard drive you use
4) Hit Y
5) Select to clear the cache
6) Once it clears, turn off your system and reboot it and try playing the game again.
I have the exact same problem mate! happy to find out i'm not the only one. Hopefully IW will fix this although they aren't really known for fixing things....
yeah me to im kinda pissed i wasted my money on it u think blizzard would have enough money to afford a top of the line server... or at least a few of them linked together idk then again maybe if there wasent umteen billion ppl playin it might be better

@gadgetman007 Just got the game today, after having to wait a week because of the dumbass place I ordered the Hardened edition from and I still can't play :) I'm about to throw my fucking controller through a fucking wall...

Occurring for me on the PS3 right now, I rebooted, took my disk out, then slid it back in there like a boss. Problem hasn't occurred since.

FIX: Press the guide button (the big xbox symbol on the controller) and it should go away. This only started to happen when I downloaded the update.
