That was my truck. I was running 39.5" IROKs. The long wheel base of the 60 really shined on that obsticle. The dana 60s are not only strong, but they added to the stability of the truck.

I own this vehicle now and it has the following Ram Jet 350 NV4500 Atlas Transfer Dana 60 Front Arb Locked 9 Bolt Rear ARB locked Champion Bead locks with C3 Rings 9000lbs winch ARB Front Bumper Custom Steel Rear bumper Its Running 37 KM2's now Spring Over Bilsteen Shocks Custom ladder Bar and Curri Johny joint The Rig has an amazing amount of flex and the Original owner did a great job building this fine Vehicle. She now lives in Northern Ontario and the drive from California was awsome:)

I am wanting an FJ60 now!!! oH MY!!! I already have a 91 pickup.. I wanna cruiser of land too!! and stock toyota axles are VERY strong... :-D I know this from experience! lol

Why would somebody defile that awesome vehicle with dana axles??? I hope your wrong. Stock Toyota axles are strong enough. Danas would just be stupid.

@K24cab while stock toyota axles strong sometimes they are not strong enough, my friend stripped his hilux axles and snapped his diff centre running 35"s. and the guy I bought my springs for my 60 kept snapping his had to upgrade, and he was running 37's on his 60 series

Ummm, yeah, I think that should be obvious.

I'm not the owner, but I'll bet the spec is something like:

-new axles, probably Dana

-looks like 37" tires with beadlocks

-probably 4.88 gearing

-lockers

-probably a 6"-7" lift and suspension upgrade with about 10"-12" travel

-ARB Bull Bar (or similar armor) front & rear

-likely some engine work for increased HP & torque

-other 4x4 goodies

Also to clarify, the diesel engines are as follows for the 60 series:

1. 12-HT - 4.0ltr TD 6 cyl

2. 2H - 4.0ltr non turbo vers of 12-HT 6 cyl

3. 3B - 3.4ltr non turbo 4 cyl.
