@kpdave This ride has been(this type of ride i mean) has been around since the 70's...This ride seems like a precursor to a ride called the QUASAR.. look it up here on you tube its on here..You'll see what i mean!!! they both lift up on a hydraulic platform, to get the rocking motion and height..but the QUASAR you ride hanging in bucket cars, that swing in and out...FUN!!!

@steelcurtain41286 I remember when this ride did sit where the Swing Shot is now but when I took this video the ride was sitting where the Kurve is. The Kurve had been removed for a few years for refurbishing and this ride was moved into its place. That left its previous spot open for the Swing Shot. Then they removed the WipeOut and put the Kurve back into its proper space. So this ride sat where the Kurve is for a couple of years.

This ride isnt Kennywood, its Waldameer. I've been to both parks and I know that I rode this at Waldameer. It is not at Kennywood.

@Egirlz47 yeah the bayern kurve is not a baby ride though, its a classic kennywood ride, This replaced the Bayern Kurve and everyone got mad, a problem with kennywood is, they have limited space,when they get something new something has to go, now they can put this ride in where king kauha was because that ride is gone and nothing took its place

The Wipeout is now at Kennywood's sister park, Lake Compounce in Connecticut! :D

That being said, I just rode this thing for the first time tonight and I am never going on it again, haha.

its gone now because in 2004 they replaced the Bayern Kurve with this, then people got made about it so they brought back the Barywn Kurve in 2009.

The Wipeout is the ONLY ride I've ever been on that made me feel like I was going to puke. I've gone on plenty of spinning rides, roller coasters exceeding 300 feet, and lots of drop towers. But these things just....ugh. I can barely get out of the ride because I'm so dizzy. XD
