  • Why the hell are we giving them criticism?? Hardly any people know their own country's national anthem. I live in the UK and I can guarantee you that 99% of British people don't know their own national anthem. Let's stop being so harsh and judging them. This happens in MOST countries, not just Pakistan.

  • the worst nation of the world is Pakistan......... Corrupt leaders and corrupt people...........

  • wannabe gorey saaley kuttey,

  • @ahmkha3 ameen

Hazrat aap ki duan ki ashadd zaroorat hay.

  • national anthem of pakistan is in persian farsi.

  • hmmm

  • Clearly the kids are not that smart.......great slap on pakistan!

  • I was in interview with Telenor, The panel asked me to stand up and read Trana, I only read 2 lines and then blank face. I really really felt shame.

    Love Pakistan.

  • Knowing the national anthem does not reflect on a person's character at all. Does the rote memory of something etched in your brain during childhood make you better than the youth in this video? They're probably far better as individuals than those spewing hatred against them here. Pakistan's tragic legacy is not the youth potrayed here but those handing out verdicts in the comments.

  • I lived some years of my childhood in Pakistan, but I do know the National anthem of Pakistan in Urdu very well. I think Urdu is one of the most beautiful languages in the world. It is sad Pakistani living in Pakistan fail to learn their mother language and take pride in speaking English. I would blame the parents more than the kids!!!

  • @almasyousuf

I know exactly what you mean. I was born and lived in Pakistan until 8, not knowing a word of English. Then my family and I emigrated to the United States, and I had to learn English here, since Americans will not learn Urdu for us. To this day, after being away from our motherland for nearly 14 years, I speak Urdu to the best of my abilities because of not only its beauty, but because I want to preserve the Pakistani language and traditions, and a promise I made to my khala.

  • @thearchitect27 I am glad you love love your mother language and continued speaking while living in USA. I not sure I got your point about "Americans not learning Urdu for you". I think you should take pride in your mother language regardless of others learning or not learning your language. I also think one should learn good English because it is considered Global language now...I see nothing wrong with it

  • @almasyousuf What I meant is that after moving to America, the people here will not learn Urdu for us, heina? We have to learn English, in order to survive here. And the way I see it, English may be just one global language. There are plenty of other languages that will rival English in the coming decades.

  • @thearchitect27 well, why do you think they would want to learn Urdu. I can understand if they move to Pakistan then they might in order to communicate with the Pakistani ppl. your point is a bit off hehehe

  • 0:23 10000000000000000% pure gay

  • @MrDeepthind1 lol

  • A disgrace to our country.

If you ask them about their favorite movie or song they will respond immediately.

People like them should be thrown out of here..

  • @ArShAvIn919 sooooo truee :')

  • @Omar22486. But, I distinctly note that most of it is changed to Urdu. Has it not? Yes, it is so sad that I see so much turmoil in our country. We are still slaves to the English language, when it should be Urdu. We should all be proud of our mother tongues, but should be more proud of our poets, Ghalib and Iqbal, plus others. Omar, we ar a warrior race and have defeated many invaders. We shall survive these complications too and would turn victorious. INSHA-ALLAH.

  • I have been away from my beautiful coutry Pakistan. I still remember our national Anthem. I believe it was Alama - e Iqbal who wrote the national anthem. Am I right or wrong?

  • @jav4444 no dude Hafeez Jallandhari wrote Pakistan's national anthem.

  • @jav4444 It was Hafeez Jalandhari SIR... Correct yourself...........Its somehow sad that our Mother Language is Either Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto, or other territorial languages like hindko, Our National Language is Urdu Official English yet our national song is in Farsi......too much complications no direction........Yet we move on isn't it a miracle...

  • how much do you want a bet that they didn't show the people who answered the question

  • its really sad. shame on us.

  • @jamalsara1

    us?means u too?????

  • Furthermore, those taught in the English medium are taught the Quami Tarana from Nursery, it's simply impossible for them not to know it, but there are exceptions. You know it would have been better to see the performance of this kids in school...I'd bed I would find a correlation. If they don't even know the QT, chances are they're probably in school for all the wrong reasons except learning, and that's a fact you can't deny. So to the uploader, kindly change the title and then F off.

  • @MapleLeafistan cha gayee maplelesbian

  • @digitwoman lun pey char...douchebag

  • And to the idiot who uploaded this video, what kind of stupid conclusion is that? What is "English medium" that makes no sense? Just because they are taught in English doesn't mean they don't know Urdu, I speak Urdu just fine. If a person is bilingual or trilingual (if you include your regional language like Punjabi for me) then is that a bad thing? You conclude that out of the 15 MILLION English speakers in Pakistan, the majority of them do not know the Quami Tarana? WTF?

  • Even the the Pakistani national anthem is in Farsi. Why couldn't it be in Urdu? The entire country from its very birth suffers from an inferiority complex and a confused identity.

  • @misterminhas It was in Farsi because that was our original language of this land and if you can read and write Urdu, Farsi shouldn't be a problem at all, since the two languages are similar. Much of our words come from Farsi. There was even a debate as to what the official language should have been, many claim it was going to be Farsi, but they opted for Urdu instead. Regardless of what language it's, that's no excuse for not knowing it. I know it by heart, and I wasn't even born in Pakistan.

  • @MapleLeafistan You'e an idiot maplelesbian, farsi is hard as fuck to learn whether you know urdu or not, and since they decided that the language will be urdu and farsi isnt taught in schools, then its retarted to have the national anthem in farsi maple lesbian. by the way do you know most of iran is shia? do you still advocate farsi being the national language? trolololol

  • @digitwoman You seriously need to open a book, you're a complete idiot. Pakistan's official anthem according to the government says "The Anthem written in Urdu is a unique poetical composition, as in spite of its brevity it is a lyrical exultation for the quintessence of Pakistan". I'm sorry, that might be enough to fry your dumbass brain, but essentially what it means is it's written using very Persianized Urdu. And so what if Iran is "Shia", they are Humans right? Aren't we all - and Muslims?

  • @digitwoman And when did I say Farsi was the national language, do you bother reading comments, or do you spend your miserable life typing shyt on YouTube videos while waiting for your welfare check to clear? LOL I'd suggest you stop wasting your time, get back in your taxi and go pick up kerpal from the airport douche. You're an idiot with no knowledge nor any common sense. If you bothered to read history, most of what is Pakistan today spoke Farsi up until the Brits came. Then Urdu tookover.

  • not to mention its the gayest national anthem ever. look at australia's national anthem, it says 'australia land of the young and free' its such a better and more positive national anthem than ours, we need to rewrite ours

  • @digitwoman Gayest national anthem ever? Do you even know Urdu or Farsi? Jesus Christ what the fuck is wrong with you? Australia's national anthem is good? Advance Australia Fair? That's the most homo national anthem in history...

  • Our national language is urdu.. so why the fuck is the national anthem is in persian / farsi .. if it was in our own language may be we would remember it. fuck

  • @digitwoman I doubt you even know how to speak Urdu...you seem like one these lost souls from Islamabad who think "oh we're American because we live in the Capital and the US Embassy is here". What a bunch a tools, no wonder they get there sorry asses laughed at whenever they come to Lahore or Karachi. Get a life bitch.

  • @MapleLeafistan gaandu teray say zaida urdu aati hai mujhay mapelesbian

  • @digitwoman Fuck you cock sucker

  • @MapleLeafistan go fuck a dildo, maple lesbian

  • @balravens5227 bitch why r u even fighting then. im block u and ure dumb ass comments r draining out my brain cells. bye bitch.

  • @jologo200 fuck u..suck a dick and die..pce

  • @jologo200 Bro not all overseas Pakistanis are like that, the majority of them are patriotic Pakistanis and know a lot about Pakistan. The same can be said for "English Medium" kids (Bilingual Pakistanis). DAWN News is quite respectable, but this was nothing more than choosing the dumbest kids and trying to make a story out of nothing. I can go to any school in the world and find kids who do not know the national anthem of the country they live in.

  • @balravens5227 This is not a true representation of all the youth of Pakistan, these are a select few of the "English medium" (basically bilingual in Urdu and English). Had the national anthem been in English, they wouldn't know it still because of the way they have been brought up. Similarly in the US, many students can't point out there own states on a map, we can't asume all American school children are like this correct? Same can be said here.

  • @balravens5227 For you buddy Thumbs up

  • @balravens5227 How is this sad? You are not even living in Pakistan. What gives you the right to judge them? If you think this is sad and you really are such a proud Pakistani since you know a couple of words by heart...why don't you go there instead of feeling superior because of sth worthless like that? That is what I call sad.

  • WHEN THE YOUTH DONT REMEMBER THE WRITER OF NATIONAL ANTHEM OF THERE COUNTRY.. WHAT WILL THEY DO FOR PAKISTAN.. MUCH BETTER FOR THESE CUTE GIRLS TO JOIN THAILAND'S BODY MASSAGE PARLOURS... KUCH TO PAISA KAMA HI LENGI.

  • moma papa babies don't know the answer. its "Hafeez Gilhandhary".

  • Comment removed

  • I bet most people in the world don't know who wrote their nation's anthem. Everyone studies it in their respective Social Studies classes, but seriously, who remembers??? However, you should at least know how to sing it!

  • @DrSpideybug Abbay saalay, Jaalandhary..

  • sorrowfully we dont know our own national anthem ,,,, and that sissy guy with glasses in the beginning was like a black spot on pakistani men.

God ,,the new generation (1995 onwards) sucks ,,,, they are so in love to become americanized that they are more like' dhobi ka kutta na ghar ka na ghaat ka'

i have seen kids in Karachi speaking english in their home with their parents and making funout of their grandparents for they unfortunately doesnt know how to speak fluently in english.
