  • Native Indigenous Pagans from around the world are now promoting the month of March as INTERNATIONAL PAGAN PRIDE MONTH. The time is now to liberate your mind and claim yourself independence from the modern religion that branches off from the Abrahamic Mythology that promotes self center arrogances. If you are proud of your Native Pagan Ancestors, wear all green this month and Promote INTERNATIONAL PAGAN PRIDE MONTH!

  • they dance like grasshoppers LOL

  • Very nice.

  • i liked it:)!!!

  • Only one I could find that was the closest to what I am being taught right now. Thanks for posting!

  • iff you hold your hand up over their legs so the only thing you'll see is the upper body

It just looks ridicualiars (can't spell that word) But it's one hell of a nice song and thoose girls are pretty good at tappa tappa tappa

  • I love this dance.

  • Exellent !...the best

  • wish i could of seen this in person so much talent

  • Ireland and Britain, beautiful countries, with rich culture. To bad America doesnt have this, we have this new age garbage 'Rap', More like 'Crap' from the poor ghettos of New York and Detriot hahah.

  • @seamuspowers By the way this is pretty cool. Irish dancing seems funny though, but hard. Im shocked no one tripped, must have good foot cordination!

  • Im hispanic but my grandma's grandpa was born in ireland.. I love the irish culture i always wanted to learn how to dance like them..

  • this is so good man i could just keep on watchin this over and over again. btw why is their wailing sound in the video lol but the dance is SO good x

  • @SuperRandoms123 Its celtic folk music from Ireland.

  • This was my favourite dance to do when I used to do Irish dancing! That looked really great!

  • This is very very good well done!!...I take it this is deffo the traditional one yes?.. I learned the lead from just watching this and part of the set:)

  • i do this as a nontraditional set.

  • waht speed?

  • is this the traditional set dance?

  • Yes yes, as taught by Olive Hurley.

  • yep !

    it is

  • EXCELLENT! We're learning this in class and their steps are pretty close to ours, which are very traditional. Thank you!

  • its good to see some one who still does the traditional way but what an earth are you kicking your heel for on the first step its just a down ....x

other than that well done x

  • There are little variations wherever you go. We just like the sound of the click more than the down =)

  • (Y) good job anyway

  • I'm really amazed !

    Well done !

  • Superb! Fantastic! Amazing! You should go far.

    Love you.

    Anne

  • This is my favourite ever traditional set dance, where i live no one does it this way anymore. I love it!

  • Thank you!....It's comforting to know that someone else has a love for tradition like we do...we need to keep the old steps alive!

  • @irishfaeriedance its my favourite too...but i do it different...the start is similiar (i do a flick tip heel then 2 drum rolls then another flick tip heel then the 4 rallys) but most of the rest is different...there are certain elements in it though that are in this one but in slightly different places.

  • I agree. There is a haunting quality to King of the Fairies that is lost when the tempo is too fast. It is a hornpipe.

  • @Brinanara I love the song fast or slow. x) Still haunting to me either way.

But it creeps me out if it accelerates and gradually gets super fast, like in Waylander's version. Makes me want to hang a horseshoe over my door to keep that mofo out of my house. O.o

But this really is my all time favorite tune, and I really want to learn to dance it.

  • It should be played slow, or started slow you can go faster later.

But if you start this reel (I'm not sure if it's a reel) fast it sounds horrible, I think.

    it looses his magic :-)

  • Hornpipe. I agree completely :]

  • what speed is this? it sounds really slow!

  • De nada!

  • Is this a Traditional Set of King of The Faeries?

  • It's taken from Olive Hurley's tape.

  • Oh Ok cool. Thanks for that Brinanara.
