Actually Derek starts the La la la's I think then Danny comes in then Matt. Derek had been singing backups more and more. I like the artform that is the Alkaline Trio. You know they all agonize over their contribution to the creation. I know they do. I know Matt only releases a song after it has brewed in his heart until ready to come out. I can't think of one song I can't identify with and dance to and cry to.

i think the reason his voice went out a lil was cuz they been playing alot of shows and it takes alot out of him to hit high notes and especially on a song they are performing for the first time.. Alkaline trio Still amazing and best band of all time...

It bothers me that everyone seems to think that Dan comes to the rescue and takes over. He does the la's on the album version, too. Sound real nice together.

Poor Matt. Makes me wonder why he even attempts those highs, he knows he can't do them well.
