@BhanuHabbo Yes, when it comes to Chinese made toys, the markings are rarely correct. The only good thing about it, is that you don't have to put the stickers on yourself, because they do that for you.
The thing that I like about this engine is the lack of a tender. That leaves you with the ability to make a tender that can hold a lego battery box to motorize it. This will be my first enlighten purchase.
@jamuz355 Yes, I also like the lack of a tender on this. Although this is a nice locomotive, this is not my fav of the Enlighten locomotives. Also, have you seen my video where I put the battery box and power function in an Enlighten Crew Car; I made a power car. That way I can use it with any train, LEGO or Enlighten, and I'm not just limited to a locomotive that looks good with a tender.
@benjaminthomas2000 Yeah, I still have 7 or 8 railcars to review, and I'm going to review them side by side with LEGO railcars from the LEGO Cargo Trains. I placed another order with A2Z Toys, a few more locomotives and several extra railcars, and I also ordered that big Aircraft Carrier; I'm looking forward to building that one. Since they ship from Hong Kong, it takes a long time to get them, but they're worth the wait :)
@LNER4771 Yes, I also find it humorous. In a previous video I mentioned that this sort of thing happens way too often with toys made in China. I collect and fly RC helicopters, and they rarely get the insignia and markings correct. On the Madhawk300, they all say "Marines" on the side of them; even the ones clearly painted to look like US Coastguard rescue helicopters.
@LegoMaster1298 Yes, I have several Brickarms reviews filmed, but I still have to edit them. So it will be a week or so before I can start uploading some of them.
Obviously, the Fake Lego Enlighten company did make a strange steam engine, it has the old British Railways Logo but has the american oversized chimney, Bell and cowcatcher without the front buffers,
@cubeproduktion In a previous video I mentioned that this sort of thing happens way too often with toys made in China; they try to make them look cool, regardless of whether they look correct. I collect and fly RC helicopters, and they rarely get the insignia and markings correct. On the Madhawk300, they all say "Marines" on the side of them; even the ones clearly painted to look like US Coastguard rescue helicopters.
Look on the side of its boiler; it has the original 1950s British Railways 'cycling lion' crest, the same crest used on British steam locomotives. Neat, huh? Though, this engine looks more American with the British crest on it, which seems quite strange.

One more - for LEGO is they don't make steam locos any more

@Stuingtion Yeah, and I just heard the other day that they no longer make the Emerald Night :(
And all I have to say about that is, why was I the last person in the world to learn this?

8[ BR Crest on American loco.
FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU
I'd say either get rid of the crests or make it more British.

@rlsktaker312 There is a link to A2Z Toystore in the description of this video; that's where I buy all of my Enlighten sets.

are these lego?
3ddie097 3 months ago
@3ddie097 Some are LEGO and some are Enlighten; but they are all LEGO compatible.

This is a great lookin' loco, I want it!
The only thing I dislike is the British Rail logo on the boiler. The BR logo is the logo with the lion on the wheel.
The grille is a cowcatcher/snow plough (plow).
