Sorry to hear about this Nancy. I was Elvin's secretary after Joyce until Elvin sold the law practice to Robert Holstein. When Elvin came back with Elizabeth from Palau and started up his practice again, I worked for him once more. Unfortunately, some other secretary he hired (can't remember her name) stole checks and money from him. After that Elvin was paranoid I guess about employees so we parted ways. I never stole a penny. I think Elizabeth encouraged him to let me go. Good luck.

I know towards the end as far back as 2002 a year before Dad died, he was extremely paranoid about Elizabeth (Sabet) and her daughter Lola who by this time was using her biological father's (Senator Reklai) last name. My father caught Elizabeth sending money to Lola and other relatives in Palau Also opening up bank accounts in Palau He was concerned enough to tell me about it

We are finding out more and more what has been happening behind the scenes Money does amazing things to people and everyone has a price. Clay Chapman was helping us tremendously until it was revealed they had a partner who had helped Elizabeth with her immigration matter a few months earlier Why they didn't find this out sooner and it took 8 months is certainly a mystery.

July 8th and 9th we had an Evidentiary hearing in front of Judge Derrick Chan and every key piece of evidfence submitted was denied by Jim Ashford of law firm Cades Shutte and Judge Derrick Chan would not allow our crucial evidence to be admitted we are appealing his decision without reviewing our brief he just signed the brief prepared by Cades shutte law firm the judge didn't even write up his OWN findings of fact I guess Judge Chan was busy he sat on his decision for 3 months

We don't know She won't talk to anyone in our family. She didn't even call anyone to tell us he was sick let alone dying. It would have been a blessing to be able to have had the time to be with him and hold his hand but she was deliberately keeping him isolated from his friends and family. Elizabeth and her attorney did a fine job of telling people that we were not close to dad and that is a lie. set up for isolation and during his last days had him sign a document leaving us out

Her sister did the same thing in Palau to HER husband named Caleb Udui He was in a high position in Palau government isolated the guy for a few weeks and he was dead Mysteriously signed a will leaving everything to Elizabeth's sister and NOTHING to HIS children HMMMM just like Elizabeth

He died approximately 9:25 p.m. on October 19th 2003 and his body was removed and sent to Ultimate Cremation at approximately 2:25 a.m. October 20th 2003 He was cremated a few hours after that. No autopsy since he died in the hospital but interesting that Elizabeth NEVER called anyone in the family to tell us dad had passed yet several phone calls were made from her cell phone to HER relatives and friends including an anesthesiologist married to her cousin.

I just don't understand with all of the motions to stop the sale of his property how could the attorney sell it, especially when he could not practice or wasn't licenced in Hawaii. Is this woman politically connected or what she sounds like she is getting some inside help on how to steal legally.

They actually thought we wouldn't notice or pay attention What they did was wrong NOT ONCe NOT ONCE did the attorney or Elizabeth call myself or my brother to ask if we would like to buy the property Amazing. We aren't done with them believe me

I sincerely feel your pain, but the Winner clearly seems to be the greedy younger wife but she is and was what she is and was "The Wife" Before Dad passed it should have been clear and defined communication regarding the assets. and seeing him 7 months before he died you practically left the door open for her. She won let her have it because if she did anything illegal or immoral no good will come of that money. Do like the rest of us, make your own,protect your own,its harsh but its real.

It isn't over yet. We have information documented and are gathering statements and witnesses who will support our case even further. Thanks for the kind words of support. All we want is what our father, an attorney himself had wanted.  And that was to have his 1996 trust honored, making me the trustee and giving a fair distribution. Apparently Elizabeth wasn't happy with that and you know the rest of the story Thanks again

They told me two years ago the lawyer had FORMERLY been a partner in their firm of Clay Chapman recently I found out that he just left. When they first told me about the conflict (8 months aFTER representing me) they were lying. We have demanded her original attorney Robert Jones produce the original 1st amendment and question the one filed by Elizabeth's attorney. One forensics expert says it looks like a cut and paste job and another person close to the Attorney admitted it was fraud.

I went through something similar, but my father killed himself after being married to the woman for less than 6 weeks. He had been widowed for 6 years and his note pretty well spelled out why he did what he did. He was an attorney and had her sign a prenup. Too bad your dad didn't have that foresight. I fought her for 3 years while she tried to break the agreement. I settled with her to stop the attorney fees!

Elizabeth's sister Keki Asanuma was married to president of Palau Kaleb Udui Sr. They were married briefly during the last weeks they were living in one of the hotels owned by the Asanuma family. he was in a very weakened condition, she isolated him from his children when it came time to read his will, it was constructed during his final days and signed EVERYTHING to Keki NOTHING to his children. His children fought her in court & lost.
