Dude you are the most idiotic person I have ever seen when it comes to this. All units have their pros and cons. But to claim that these are useless is beyond me. I have used raiders before and they have won me a dozen games in leveling bases faster than a bunch of grunts. Then the Militia and Steam Tank are meant for more defensive role than offense.

Also, a gyro is very useful for scouting and keeping an eye on enemy movement. Not as good as PotM owl scout, but useful anyway. I play mostly NE because I like the stealth and the buildings. I used to think Faerie Dragons were useless til I made a full group of them one day and turned off their auto-phasing. They really do tear up casters and a whole group of them can down ground units fast, that's the only time auto-phasing should be on (to save their mana).

Sigh...EVERY unit in WC3 has its use and purpose. I notice wolf riders are considered "useless" in this video, but they're not made to attack other units, you distract the enemy army, making sure u have pillage upgrade, then send in the riders to take out their buildings. A full group of riders can down any buildings in a matter of seconds, if u creepjack the enemy army far enough from their base, you can distract them and take out half their buildings before they recover.

Damn... i really hate you on a personal level. Why? I played WC3 alot in 2006-2009 and all the the pros use these kind of units a main level in their attacks, creeping, counter-attacks and so forth. Its an insult haha. 5 - every human players use them. 4 - tell that to fly, lyn, grubby etcetera. 3 - has often been used in wcg 1v1 by tod or fly or infi. 2 - skeletons can be used well in 1v1 with dark ranger or in 3v3 with alot of necros. 1 - gyros is often used by pros like ted in 1v1.

1. Militia are good for when the enemy is attacking your base and you need extra defence.

2. Raiders are good because they can use ensnare to trap air units and kill them rather than using HH because they have low attack and hp.

3. Siege engines are great for taking down building while your main units deal with the other main units.

4. They are summoned as backup and extra units, they do have low hp and attack however they are useful in ways.

2: How the hell are you going to get resources without them!?

3: They're not very strong, but they're great at skirmishing. Send in a few, whack on the enemy's tower, you get resources & damage his buildings.

5.Skeletons themselves are hardly useful, thats no lie. However, they are supposed to be used with meat wagons and necromancers. In this way , there are so many skeletons that even dispel magic cant be useful in taking all of them out. And, priest are unarmored, taking extra damage from meat wagons, literally dying in seconds.

This guy obviously has no idea about strategy. I've seen Grubby use raiders in pretty much every game in multiple roles, and since Grubby is the best Orc player I've ever seen I'm going to assume he knows what he's doing. As for skellies, they rape everything. I've won matches by a hair using a few necs and some gargs, skellies having done practically all the work, and you can death pact them for hp for the DK, and dark ritual to get mana for the lich. They're hugely useful.

Let me explain u :

Militia - Creeping high lvl creeps at start of the game,scouting, tower rush, defence etc.

Rider (one of my favorite) crazy dmg against buildings, and the WEB, best thing for surrounding.

Tanks - dont need to tell a thing, forgot the word expansion when your enemy is building some tanks (with army)

Skelets - Helps you while creeping, takes all the dmg, also there is some tactic with meat vagons and necromancers, but i bet video uploader are too stupid for it. Srry 4 gramma

1. militia are great when being rushed early or when defense in your base needs help.

2. raiders are great because A. they take down air units to the ground, and orcs kick ass in melee, therefore making fighing easier for the rest of orc armies. B, when researched with pillage, you can destroy bases AND gain resources. and C, they are extremely fast, making them ideal hit and run warriors.

3. siege tanks can destroy enemy bases quickly. when backed up with an army your enemy can kiss expansions

The scenarios u put those units in were not fair. Militia are not meant to kill a hero, let alone chase after one. They r a last resort for base defense. Worg riders are better against buildings and have reduced damages against light armor. That's why they fell to the peasants. Siege tanks are extremely effective against buildings but van only target buildings. They aren't meant to attack ground units, they're meant for destroying bases. Skeletons are cheap units that u can make instantly
