I live in Madison,AL about 5 to 10 miles from the bad damage I will tell you it was SCARY AS HELL!! and not having power for 6 days was no fun. But my family and home are ok so I am thankful!
@StormChaseTN That's a good one, from Wichita, KS's old system.
If I had a phone like yours where I could make my own ringtone, there's a Simplex fire alarm recording I'd like to use. /watch?v=pN4R3eXuxBw
The March Time sounds a lot like what we used to have at my old school. I would use a modified version of that as my ringtone. It would definitely get my attention every time I heard it.
@momotous You've got a keen eye.. even I didn't notice that! I wouldn't be surprised if you noticed any more of that, even rotation. There was slight rotation in different places in the whole storm.. it was insane. Never seen anything like it in my 13 years of being into severe weather, much less my entire life.
@momotous And there's a definite roar from about 1:45 to about 2:00. If that's the tornado roaring, it sounds like it's at about EF2 or low EF3 strength at that point.
@DjHardaFasta My chase partner was talking through parts of it and I didn't necessarily want those in the video lol. The audio that was taken out didn't have any sound from the storm in it, so I just took it out. If it were then I would have kept it nonetheless.

I heard what sounded like a 1000T on your cellphone.
That's some good ambiance you got there.

@LouisvilleTorn8o Thanks! Yeah, my ringtone is a 1000T going off. It's the only tone that I have on my phone that actually gets my attention.

@StormChaseTN Just curious...Which 1000T recording did you use?
