  • What is the title of this song?

  • The tune is called 'Wheels'.

  • @118Verbeek the name of the song is WHEELS, my nan used to play it on the piano when I was a little girl

  • this organ is not seen out often does it live in my homeland of beautifull old Wales?

  • It could well live in Wales, I have checked my other photos of the day but still cannot confirm

  • oh right thankyou... i love Wales

  • Just to clarify, this is NOT a steam organ! A steam calliope is something completely different. Blowing steam through the wood pipes would most likely damage them. Otherwise, it's a nice fair organ.

  • The term 'steam organ' is clearly not a very clear description; it means that the bellows for the air to play the music were driven by some sort of steam engine e.g. a traction engine or fairground engine.

  • \this is a very fine Bursens organ. 52 Key.

I think the organ needs new bellows...

  • @nigelwinesmith well said! I agree with you and as far as ime concerned they are all steam organs no matter how much fair organ enthusiasts hate it. we can call them what we like:)

  • These olde band organs are cool; wish there were more clips of them. This one must be very unique operating on steam as all the others are blown with air.

  • no they all can be on steam and air but they are all unique my grandads got one

  • This Dosent Operate On Steam It Runs On Bellows.
