  • All income taxes should be eliminated and just do away with the IRS..Also get rid of social security, medicare and public schools..we need a strictly voluntary tax system..

  • The government should trickle on us all.... LOL!!!

  • Mitt Romney - $40,000,000 - 13% Tax Rate

    Middle Class America - $45,000ish - 30% Tax Rate

Conservatives: "We need to lower taxes on the Rich- I mean Job Creators"

  • This is a frivolous video.

In all of your videos you create straw-men by creating a stereotypical liberal trope and a conservative with a superior argument. Yet since both sides of the conversation are supplied by you, your bias is always going to let the conservative win.

Taxing the rich more to discourage wealth elites is hardly going to destroy the economy. It would improve it, creating social mobility and competition between small businesses within the free market.

    This video is pathetic.

  • @ec123456789able No, taxing the rich more will encourage the rich to make their money elsewhere. And when jobs go overseas, you will blame Bush.

  • @lazerwraiths Eroding wealth elites would allow for more market competition and would allow people to create their own wealth through setting up businesses and therefore creating their own jobs and jobs for other people too. As a libertarian I support limited government and less regulation, however equally, I think the same limitations should apply to corporations, the rich, and the banks too.

I support the free market, however unlimited capitalism is almost as bad as unlimited socialism.

  • Oh no. Why?

  • This is beautiful! It shows how dumb liberalism is... when emotion is removed.

  • I love it.

  • I'm a liberal and I believe everyone rich or poor should be taxed exactly the same amount..

  • these robot voices get annoying......

  • Just decrease the goddam tax to like 10%(increases to a maximum of 20% as your pay gets higher). Most of the taxation is unnecessary. I mean like bailing out the bastard in wall street? IS the government stupid? Like attacking the mid east for no reason?

  • @williamjpiano Yes, the government is stupid

  • Wow. That was excellent and not a strawman or hyperbole at all!

  • Fuck all taxes

  • An ignorant video on a variety of levels.

  • @kaufmattman good argument idiot.

  • @xHippieHunter Who said i was arguing? The video is extremely biased and ignorant of democratic ideology. Even though I'm a liberal, I at least respect Republican ideology and don't reduce it in a way to make it look moronic, which can and has been done.

  • Oh no, why?

  • what about tax cuts for rich george bush had in placed dident make to much jobs

  • Liberals: "Rich people should be taxed closer to 60 percent!" Wait, why are these rich people taking their companies overseas? How come there aren't anymore jobs? Government should tax the rich closer to 80 percent to create jobs! Wait, why are even more rich people taking their companies overseas? How come there are even fewer jobs? Government should tax the rich closer to 90 percent...."

That seems to be the gist of liberal economic policy.

  • @cybersuh1

    Are you Greek?

  • @cybersuh1 LOL I'm guessing you are completely unaware that from 1930-1980, during our country's most economically robust years, the rich were taxed at 80 and 90%. In fact, I'm guessing you just know very little about economics in general.

  • @cybersuh1 So try and get a job being a politician instead of bitching about them.

  • @cybersuh1 I love how liberals are upset that some of the rich are paying only 14-20 percent to the federal governement, yet 45% of the middle lower class don't pay a cent.

And that the top 1% pay for like half of all federal income.

  • Damn, this is crappy! She is very bad at explaining, so he is having a very easy time seeming clever. Surely the maker (of this movie (not God)) don't know anything about liberalism (og socialism for that matter).

  • @Orkkongen lol you attack the position - when in reality that's the actual conversations I have with liberals.

Legalize weed/ abortions / gay marriage, stop military, destroy freedom of religion and speech. Republicans are bad, Capitalism is a lie, the Tea Party is racist, American history is a lie,There is no God (In fact EVERY argument NEEDS to state there is no God, insult Religion and call EVERYONE a racist or stupid... EVERY argument) and finally stating America is a democracy

  • @unclearimage LOL OMG, get this. I missed your first sentence, and the paragraph below was TOTALLY believable, I was actually getting ready to trash you before I realized you were making FUN of liberal nitwits. However, the right wing is no less batshit crazy.

  • @rudygetsplenty I think there are intelligent people on either side. However I tend to side with the Republicans because they go off what's worked in the past. where Democrats continue to try what has failed time and time again, no to mention their logic is always based off some flimsy moral/emotional logic. Which is not a good basis for a logical argument.

i.e. A criminal is accused of killing someone

A Democrat asks if jail will hurt him, and ruin his life

A Republican asks if he's guilty

  • @unclearimage On the first part, about what's worked in the past, that's a super big generalization, I imagine that statement could easily be supported or disproven depending on the example. To the morality thing, society without morality is sure to fail. There's also something sad in the fact that the religious right (almost totally Republican) indeed dismisses the moral/emotional values their religion is supposedly based on. The jail thing is the perfect example though (cont.)

  • @unclearimage (cont) our penal system is TOTALLY fucked. The far-left may be concerned more with the criminal's rights than the value of justice. But the far-right dismisses the rights of criminals, which is evil & counterproductive. Jesus was a criminal. So was Gandhi, MLK, etc. A Democrat should give more thought to the evil a criminal did, before concerning themselves with the rights they keep. A Republican should give more thought to what the person is guilty of.

  • @rudygetsplenty Jesus, MLK, and Gandhi weren't murderers- they were PEACEFUL social revolutionaries.. therefore your argument is typical liberal mix mashing off fact and opinion. (or nonsense)

Criminals are criminals, they're the bane of our society disgusting human beings that ruin the balance of our society. Yes they have rights, are those rights are kept. However they are guilty, they are wrong, and anything short of punishment is an injustice to humanity, to our society and is ALWAYS WRONG.

  • @rudygetsplenty Our laws exist for a reason, and that reason is not so someone can decide they don't want to follow them. They're there to ensure there is peace, order, and a level of decency that humanity is not inherently born to follow. You've missed the entire point of my post, but if you want to go there you can't win that argument with anything, it's the logical conclusion- your argument is again... based on misinformation, misinterpretation and emotion.

  • @unclearimage LOL! You just went straight into the outfield with liberal bashing, typical of a conservative! Conservatives don't understand that a criminal and a murderer are not the same thing, and can't be judged the same, as you plainly demonstrate. You say "our laws exist for a reason, but the laws state that criminals have rights. So really, you only care about the laws you like, and dismiss the other as liberalism!

  • @rudygetsplenty ... murder is against the law- criminals are people that break the law... murderers have murdered which is... again the law- making them criminals.

If person's actions ≠ following with the Law

    Then

    Person = Criminal

I never said criminals DON'T have rights perhaps you should read my statement before("...that ruin the balance of our society. Yes they have rights...")- you truly are an ignorant person. I haven't BASHED anything, I've made accurate observations about a group.

  • @unclearimage Although I looked back and you're totally right, devolved into nonsense. My bad, just trolling and not paying close enough attention to talk sense til just now. And sure you right, murderers = super bad people. But your "accurate observations about a group" is a huge group, and some specific observations, and they weren't super accurate. A lib saying the words "pushed to murder" is the exact same level of bullshit to me as a con calling a drug user a "disgusting human being".

  • @rudygetsplenty when making observations about a large and diverse group of people, it's almost impossible to summarize their entire positions in one statement. However to state that the majority of Republicans are for tougher criminal sentences and the death penalty and to state that Democrats are more liberal and compassionate (even too compassionate) is a pretty fair or accurate description for the majority of those groups.

  • @unclearimage And yeah the Rep Dem descriptions are fine. But the problem's not JUST that Dems need to stop being such bleeding heart pussies. The problem is Reps ALSO have to stop being such soulless dicks. Reps are willing to fuck everybody in order to fuck people that deserve it. Dems are willing to protect people that don't deserve it in order to protect people that do. Reps have to figure out who doesn't need fucking over, and Dems have to figure out who doesn't deserve protection.

  • There are two versions of punishment. For the sake of revenge and for the sake of rehabilitation. An intelligent society strives for rehabilitation. What's funny is you accuse liberals of basing their views on morality/emotion, but that is what you're basing yours on. That's why "criminals" to you are "disgusting human beings". It has nothing to do with reality, it's just your flimsy, emotionally charged moral outrage.

  • @rudygetsplenty This entire argument is devolving into nonsense. Criminals can't be rehabilitated, statistically they're more likely to go into jail (a dangerous gang run world) and come out being worse then before, revenge doesn't come into play if the crime is against society so that's a poor argument. Finally my personal opinion of people that defile our society has nothing to do with criminal law or the justice system, my argument actually goes in FAVOR of it- yours is against it.

  • @rudygetsplenty For instance, if you murder (not in self defense)- it's a crime, you go to jail. Opinion or not, if I like you or not. That's it- jail, that's true Justice. You are being held accountable for your crimes.

A republican would generally go, he killed someone, he's proven he's a indecent human being why wait for him to do it again, kill him.

A democrat would go on about some nonsense involving "desperate situations" "being pushed to murder because of..." and other nonsense

  • @unclearimage True that some people cannot be rehabilitated, lots of them. They are violent and belong in prison or dead. But to say every person convicted of a crime meets this description is ridiculous. But our system puts people who steal (still "evil", but NOT CLOSE to the same as violence) or do drugs (not even "evil" just stupid at best) and treats them the same. This turns people who are greedy or stupid into people who are violent. This is poor policy at best, evil at worst.

  • @rudygetsplenty

People that break the law are held accountable for their actions, that is not evil.

People that hurt others and make their lives more difficult are punished for their actions, this is not evil.

People know the outcome of breaking the law, and they do it to themselves. It's their decision, not yours.

Telling someone who broke the law, who stole/ murdered/ or raped it's OKAY by letting them keep doing it, is evil.

To do nothing to stop an evil man is the only real evil here.

  • @unclearimage If one man were to steal your wallet, and another were to violently rape and viciously beat somebody you loved, those men would both deserve punishment. To do what needed to be done to the second man would be justice. To do the same thing to the first man would be evil. Even if you did it alot more to the second man.

  • Raising taxes is bullshit. The rich shouldn't pay more just because they have more benefits and higher income.

  • @PunkAttitude8V For real, why should the rich have to pay to preserve the system that enabled them to get rich in the first place?

  • Liberal taxes? If this is liberal taxes it sounds a lot like you want high incomers to spend so much money they are making the same as the working class which is Socialist.

  • socialism destroys wealth eventually the countries turn into Korea or Cuba nice system! Utopea in North korea ? Get up and go to work for ones neighbor and not yourself?

  • Man: "Good luck."

    Woman: "Thank you."

Man: "I was talking to everyone else.."

    Epic.

  • @CommissionerG hahahahahahahahahah LOL!!!!!!!! VERY FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JAJJAJA CANT STOP LAUGHING!!!! XD

  • "A good government is one that trickles on us all."

There are sooooo many responses I could give to this.

  • @MrIsmailmahmood I agree we should improve our economy. However, Saddam killed many of our own people as well (forgot to mention in the last post). However, defending yourself means that when a country attacks your own, you go on their turf and strike them back. If you don't do that, then they will attack again just like the boy who gets bullied and never fights back. Now for improving the economy, the president is doing a terrible job at doing that according to the unemployment chart.

  • "By creating a business friendly economy that creates more jobs?"

If by business friendly, you mean loan friendly then sorry, but that's been tried and has failed. Just like socialism, right?

    "You could give to charity"

Sure I could, but where's the guarantee that if I suddenly became poor, these charities will do anything for me?

The idea of welfare, is to make it so that being poor isn't a disability.

Charities mostly keep homeless people alive.

  • Bullshit. We advocate lowering taxes for 98 % of Americans. Sorry if I think Millionaires and Billionaires should have to pitch in by paying higher taxes.

  • “We are socialists, we are enemies of today’s capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions.” –Adolf Hitler

  • Conservative taxes explained. When Reagan lowered taxes in 1981, the economy tanked and the deficit soared. When he later raised taxes, (11 times) the economy recovered and the deficit declined. When Bush Sr. said "no new taxes," the economy tanked and the deficit soared. When Clinton raised taxes, the economy exploded, the deficit disappeared, and the surplus was born. When Dubya cut taxes, the economy tanked and the deficit reappeared. Class dismissed!

  • @goldenthroat86 Conservative taxes clarified. When Reagan lowered taxes in 1981, Revenue was around 19%. He later raised taxes and Revenue decreased to 17%. When Bush Sr said no new taxes, he had a Dem controled congress and had to fight and Revenue stayed just under 18%. When Clinton raised taxes, the Repub controled congress decreased spending allowing the economy to boom. Dubya faced a much harder time due hightened defense requirement. Obama skyrocketed spending causing economic stagnation.

  • @goldenthroat86 also, since the Dems took control of both houses in 2007, Revenue declined from 18.2% to 14.4%. Yet they believed it was a good idea to increase spending by 5%, causing our debt to overtake GDP within 4 years rather than more than a few decades on the previous trend. a Continuation of the Bush trendline shows that we would still be at 70%GDP rather than 100%. Suppose we can thank the dems for creating a crisis now so we can deal with the spending issue rather than must later.

  • "When times are tough people need to sacrifice more."

    roflmao XD

  • this is perfect...really explains liberal arguments.

  • Taxing rich people would make them re-invest into their businesses....thus creating jobs!

  • @Htown75

How can they invest money they no longer have?

  • These stupid straw-man arguments are ridiculous. No "liberal" actually sounds like that or would make such absurd arguments. If you have to resort to making stuff up to trash liberals, doesn't that show that your points are probably pretty weak to begin with?

  • @IndyJones2100

It's very easy to accuse someone of making a straw-man argument, it's another thing entirely to actually demonstrate that the accusation holds and water with specific examples counter to the original proposition.

  • How does ending affirmative action save you money?!?!

But I agree, this mindset is toxic. What we need to do is cut government funding for unnecessary things, AND raise taxes on the rich when the gap between rich and poor grows as large as it is right now.

  • Cool straw men, bro.

  • I think we should keep funneling money to assholes who don't need it. They'll create jobs when they hire illegals to expand their palace, and illegals as landscapers, because it's too expensive to hire a legal person. Hell they might even give a few germans jobs when they buy some bmw's or mercedes. Anyone who believes tax cuts for the billionaires will stimulate the economy, I can't wait for you to be crying in the unemployment line.

  • your a moron.

  • Hahaha I love this so much. It's the absolute truth. You liberals can bite me.

  • these videos do not really give any balance just show an idiot who does not understand her position against somebody who has an understanding of the issues.

  • This video is SPOT ON!!!

  • 1:34 as soon as he said "if you're starting point is the great depression, and the rest of the world has been blown to bits, I guess it has to go up" I could not stop laughing xDDDDDDDDD

  • “Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.”

"Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the State... This state is to be the arch-employer, the arch-administrator and ruler, and the arch-caucus-boss."

    Sir Winston Churchill

"The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples money."

    Margaret Thatcher

  • I love the "oh no, why?". I laugh every time. So much monotone concern.

  • @joecow12 me too! haha

  • When you lower taxes, it gives the rich more money. Therefore, through trickle down economics, the money will reach the working class. However, this is Earth, otherwise known as "the real world" where that doesnt happed. So tell me my little republican brethren, if you had a million dollars, would you be so quick to dump it? People should quit watching Fox, and spend more time realizing the Capitalist society they live in is just a game for the rich, who will always win. : )

  • @tommy16p Turning America socialist ain't helping either. If you didn't realize this yet, it's the liberal-progressives that have a control of media related to politics.

  • @tommy16p Do you live under a rock? This is capitalism, which means everybody has a right to work and EARN MONEY. Back in the day, poor people from Europe (and all over the world, really) came to the United States because they saw capitalism as a chance to make something of themselves and of their lives. Some of those people worked very hard each and every day and eventually made it rich. You fail to understand that people today still have that opportunity, they just refuse to take it.

  • @cabe277 So when there's no jobs they "refuse the opportunity". Yeaaahhh

  • @cardboardtox There are still jobs. If you really want a job and TRY hard enough to find one, you can get one. They are refusing the opportunity. And the fact that they're refusing the opportunity is the reason why so many illegal immigrants have jobs. The poor would rather sit on their asses and mooch off welfare than get up and work.

  • @SnowboardPlata your scenario is hilariously stupid

  • If I make 2 dollars and I worked for a whole day. Is it fair for a liberal to take a dollar from me when I obviously worked for those 2 dollars. I would be ok give 10 cents but a full dollar like what Obama is doing is insane. And when he takes my dollar he gives it to the poor man. Who doesn't work for his money and gets welfare checks from the government. Im sorry but liberals are idiots. Message me all you want I really don't care.

  • @SnowboardPlata The reason why there is welfare is to try and motivate the unemployed to get a job.

  • @spellbreakerko do you really believe that or are you being sarcastic?

  • When liberal-progressives go for high taxes, everyone suffers.

  • On next years tax forms Congress should let taxpayers check off which party in Congress they want to authorize to manage their money. Then Democrats can raise taxes from all those rich Democrats for projects beneficial to Democrats and pay off their own debts anyway they want and Republicans will be able to cut programs not beneficial to Republicans and only have Republican debts to pay off.

  • "Who are the rich? People who have more money than I do."

Well put. Punish the successful and reward the unsuccessful. Is that equality?

  • Can anyone tell me one instance where tax cuts for the wealthy has actually created jobs during a recession?

  • @Ocheck86 Take an economics class.

  • @YellowBlackbird12 so u can't tell me one instance just tell me to take an economic class... How bout a history class because even Regan raised taxes tro fix the economy

  • @Ocheck86 This is too complex for youtube. An economics class would be the best place to have all your questions answered. But basically raising taxes can reduce the deficit. The deficit is not the economy. While it plays a part this current economic crisis was caused by unethical banking policies. Everytime a company makes a billion in profits they put several billion back into the economy. Most poor people dont even pay taxes anyways. Taxs cuts=more money= potential for more employees.

  • @Ocheck86 Kennedy, Reagan, Bush, Coolidge, true Regan did raise some taxes but over all he lowered them, and would lower them but never controlled the house. Bush over all lost as many jobs as he gained, but his lowest was 4.2% considering the old model of full employment was 5%, over all a win. Now your likely going to come back and say something really stupid, then I'd have to go into Obama's numbers Both inherited a recession, but bush's started after dem's took the house.

  • @Ocheck86 How does raising taxes create jobs?

  • We should let each taxpayer specify on their tax returns which political party they want to set their taxes and spend them. That way taxpayers can have more control over what our tax money is invested in. It doesn't matter if you invest your money with a Wall Street investment firm or a political party if you're getting services you actually want or consider beneficial to our common self-interests. If you don't have a party to act as your taxmoneys financial investor you defer to majority rule.

  • do these people ever work?

  • Too bad confiscating ALL the wealth of EVERY billionaire in this country would still leave us with a $300 billion dollar deficit for this year alone. Well when we take all their money, it's time for the middle class to "pay their fair share".

  • Taxes should be higher on the super rich. It's one way to keep them from getting too dizzy and sick with greed - which is what led Wall St into destroying the world's economy for the sake of short term profits. Take that tax money and invest in infrastructure and health care.

  • @CribNotes Do you know what would actually happen if we had universal health care? Want an example, go to a VA hospital because that is our future. Those who would of pursued a profession in the medical field will not. Why? Because there will be no money in it. Why would someone of that intelligence take a job that requires so much but pays so little? So dieing in the waiting room may be a blessing in disguise, compared to dying on the operating table after we lower the standards to med schools.

  • @SpiritStalker78 In the US we spend twice the dollar amount per person on health care and they tell us a free market system gives us the best deal? I don't think so. We already lost a buttload of potential doctors over the years because all the students went to law school instead where they could study half as much and then make twice as much money than a doctor.

Why do employers get saddled with this healthcare administration crap? Nationalize it and liberate the economy.

  • @CribNotes The government has no business doing any of this. I for one believe in small government. Taking over in this manner is pure socialism. The scariest thing one can hear is "hello I am from the government and I am here to help"

  • @SpiritStalker78 I'll give you another example of universal health care (UHC).. I recently dropped Kaiser Perm, after 8 years, because they could not fix two long term issues with my health that I would think was easy to fix. I've had BCBS for 3 1/2 months. One operation and one specialist later, both issues are completely fixed and cured!! Obama is modeling UHC after Kaiser. No thanks, i've lived UHC already and they can shove it up their kiesters.

  • Marxists must be the biggest stupidest bastards this planet have ever seen!...The system is corrupt and destructive, to fix it according to Marxists is to give the very same system absolute power by a Democracy, once that Democratic system is implanted is gonna be ruled by the proletariat where ONE MAN and just a few intellectual bureaucrats will have the power over EVERYBODY! The catch? To enforce the new System anybody who disagree needs to be destroyed. Hance the genocide of the 20th century.

  • These are great vids. I've enjoyed them all.

  • This are great vids. I've enjoyed them all.

  • "A good government is one that trickles on us all." AHAHAHA!!! Best line I've heard from these short films yet.

  • I'm a hard left liberal and this is the funniest shit ever! A brilliant reductio ad absurdum that unfortunately does nothing to refute the fact that conservative policies tend to favor those who are already well off and to maintain the less well-off in their poverty. You can only afford a hands-off government if you can live without its services and if your neighborhood is not the equivalent of a third-world nation.

  • @AUSM92 So in America liberals are socialists, in Sweden where i live, liberals are conservatives...

Is there any place on earth where liberals are liberals, or does the concept of poloitics rule that option out?

  • @lagerhaus87 I'm sure Swedish "conservatives" are more liberal than American liberals. This country is really conservative! Where else in a developed nation would universal health care be an issue?

  • @lejeunesage I'm not certain, but I think you're confusing the american definition of liberals, which is basically socialism, and the european, which is what an american would call libertarian. Amongst libertarians, universal health care is viewed as part of socialist ideology.

If i, in fact, did misunderstand, and you meant that swedish conservatives are more socialist than american liberals, you're probably right. Considering our total tax percentage of gdp is around 47%.

  • @lagerhaus87 I noticed that I'm contradicting myself, the term liberal, is usually hiding a conservative agenda in Europe. But it's more common here than in america, that people remember the words original meaning.

  • @lagerhaus87 I noticed that I'm contradicting myself, the term liberal, is usually hiding a conservative agenda in Europe. But it's more common here than in america, that people remember the words original meaning.

  • @lagerhaus87 I wouldn't call the american definition of "liberal" socialist; but I'm sure people on the right would. But apart from Bernie Sanders, no mainstream American liberal is a socialist. So, if that's how you understand "liberal," it leads to misunderstandings. A "liberal" here is someone who believes capitalism, but one who believes in using the government's power to tax and regulate to solve problems. So, by my definition, my ealier comment stands.

  • @lejeunesage Wouldn't it be better for the government to "solve problems" by incentivizing people instead of regulating them? For example, instead of forcing businesses to buy hybrid fleet cars, why not give them a tax rebate if they do? Freedom is a good thing.

  • @nsav8 It depends on the problem to be solved. You're raising a straw man: no one is proposing that we force businesses to buy a specific type of car. In the example you gave, of course incentives would work best. But if you don't wants corporations to pollute, it makes more sense to "force" them not to pollute. And if you want people to have car insurance, it makes more sense to "force" them. That hardly constitutes a breach of freedom. And where were you folks when W. was curtailing liberties?

  • @quintuspaulus No,pollution is the result of a unfree market. If we had a free market technology would be advancing further faster business could then become greener. The government forcing them not to pollute will most likely led to a mismanaged department intended to deal with such things, and it will not solve the problem of the business that led it to pollute in the first place. The reality is its counterproductive in many respects and their is simply a better way of dealing with it.

  • @nsav8 Better yet get government uninvolved in such manners and incentive will rise on its own.

  • 315, killing Nazis and giving the far left the finger.

In real life, an American flag billows behind him at all times.

  • The headline is misleading, this is socialist taxes explained...

  • "Yes, a good govt. is one that trickles on us all " LMAO that was priceless ! These vids are great ! No wonder gays like liberal govt, to them its just another GOLDEN SHOWER !!!

  • Abraham Lincoln said, "You cannot help the poor by tearing down the rich. You cannot help the wage earner by hurting the wage payer."

    Poor DeeDeeDillboy.

I could do this all day. Now don't get upset. I'm sure you aren't used to discussing politics with adults. It's okay, some day you'll grow up and sit at the big table. Good luck to you!

  • “We should make the poor uncomfortable and kick them out of their poverty” -Benjamin Franklin

He never advocated 'taxing the rich' Sorry you lose again. You must be used to it by now. DeeDee boy.

  • DeeDee, you are a moron who cannot do basic research. Jefferson believed no such thing as 'taxes on the rich'. At least try to be a little truthful while the spittle runs down your chin.

"Jefferson got repealed all the direct federal taxes passed by the Federalists and boasted that ordinary Americans would never see a federal tax collector in their whole lives."

    Look it up.

  • Jeferson, Franklin, LIncoln all believed that most of the taxes should be paid by the super-rich.

They also stongly opposed great wealth being passed from 1 generation to the next.

Increase the MAX TAX RATE, and put the Inheritance Tax back where It was in 1988.

  • ...

  • The government trickles on us alright... and tells us its raining.

  • and....... she's retarded

  • I hate when the uneducated masses think they have any authority to make political commentary on social issues.

  • Comment removed

  • @athropos I hate it when video game playing children try to enter an adult debate.

Social commentary from your parents basement? Really? hahahahaha

How's that global warming working out for you these days? hahahaha

  • @athropos they do have authority to make comment.... 1st Ammendment. If the opinion is not based on accurate data and simply on "faith" it will be vetted out. Besides only around 30% of Americans hold college degrees. Based on your comment that leaves out a whole lot of people wtih experience and common sense that should not make their opinions know..

  • @athropos Well darnit. I thought ole alhropos would take the bait and call me names. Your snarky comment about "uneducated masses" smacks of rule of authority or authorization and not command of subject. This specific video references taxes. I can assure you any small business owner, i.e. hairdresser, plumber, or garbageman, has more knowledge of the tax system than any "educated" public school teacher or video game addict. Do you know when FICA payments are due to the FEDS? I doubt it.

  • The republic will cease to exist when we take away from those who are willing to work and give it to those who are not. Thomas Jefferson

  • @bymax1

    Good quote. Quite sobering.

  • @bymax1 it's not "giving it to those who are not", Because those who are not are still paying taxes despite the fact that they have NO FUCKING MONEY. All that is being asked is that rich people actually pay their share. And just because someone isn't working doesn't mean they aren't trying. My dad has been trying really hard for 2 years to get a job, he's been going out and being interviewed and all this stuff. It's hard to get a job in the modern world.

  • @98donkeydude They pay over 60% of all taxes not to mention it is not the Federal Governments responsibility to provide for you. That should be left to your Friends, family, Church or a charity. and States that do want social programs can implement them. but a one size fits all programs that were getting under the Federal Government isnt working and is driving us broke.

  • @skatelongboards It's not my responsibility to have my taxes go to public schools for your children. Its not my responsibility to help fund roads you drive on with my tax dollars- build your own. Its not my responsibility to have my tax money to go to law enforcement agencies to keep you safe- get a private security contractor for that. Also by law you have to have private insurance (any) so there's your corporate communism for you. You cons just pick and choose blindly based on politics.

  • @Killerjosh89 lol what you said basically made no sense and you didn't use the Constitution to back it up. just your own political ideology. The Federal Government is allowed to collect taxes to fund the jobs that the Federal Government is supposed to do under the Constitution. roads, interstate commerce, military, etc. the Federal Government is NOT supposed to be involved in education. i have no problem paying taxes to programs that the government is supposed to fun though.

  • Gosh DillonDee1, did Obama explain the plight of the poor to you when he was taking one of his golfing vacations, or when he and his enormous assed wife were getting their shave ice snow cones in Hawaii last week? Truly, democrats really care about the poor!

  • @bob494949 They act like they are for everyone when they only care for themselves. Obama is a millionaire but spews bs about the rich. The democrats want the rich to be gone and tax them high so that the bureaucrats have control of the money and everyone else is poor.

  • @bob494949 ... Yeah... because GWB never went on vacation? T.T

  • @ReasonIsADivineGift LOL! You are correct! However, one thing to consider is the status of what is going down in America! AND the world... Time for vacation, nope don't think so. Tax payers, me included are angry because while people are living in shacks/tents and looking for jobs where there are none, he's on vacation (almost a months worth (26 days last count), now maybe more).

  • @cottoncandicane According to fact check . org Obama spent 26 days on vacation the first year and Bush spent 77. Obama is far from a perfect president, but I think that his a lot of his conservative opposition have unfairly criticized him made evident by the fact that the most popular comment on this video is based off of false data.

  • @ReasonIsADivineGift At least Bush fought back against Al-Quada when they attacked us on September 11th. Why do liberals never provide legit sources to their claims while economists and conservatives do? It kind of interests me.

  • @gamefreak1000000 Bush was a moron, not as much as a moron as obama is but never the less he is still a member of the moron club.

Neo-conservatives like Bush are the same thing as liberals. they trample over the Constitution and dont beleive in small government.

  • @gamefreak1000000 Please i consider myself a conservative ( not a neo-con like you probably are. bunch of bible thumpers and warmongers) but Bush was wrong to get involved in the middle east. we killed Bin Laden lets go now. You say your fiscally conservative yet you give the rich tax breaks than go on a big government/ war spending spree. Bush was a closet liberal.

  • @skatelongboards Pfft...I think you're a closet liberal. The muslims have ALWAYS hated us ever since we took a stand against them when they attempted to attack Israel. Since then, they were an enemy to Christians. They consider us a Christian country since the majority of people in the U.S. are Christians. Bush did everything right. He killed Saddam Hussein, a dictator who killed millions of his own people. Why would you tax business owners if you know they're going to go under? Some people...

  • @gamefreak1000000 Who kills if saddam killed millions of people. was saddam a threat to the security of this country? no. were those people Saddam killing Americans? no. so why should we go in their and "liberate" them?

Bush spent like a liberal and believed in a big federal government. the current republicans and conservative in the party are terrible. None of you support the Constitution and believe in small government anymore. You want a real Conservative elect Gary Johnson or Ron Paul

  • @skatelongboards Dude, I'm all in for the constitution and small government. I never said Bush was the best, but he wasn't bad. He was kind of good, but just kind of. He took the moral stance, but the mass spending that he did was what got us in a recession. Obama said he would get us out, but he's spending even more money than Bush and unemployment was going up a lot quicker. Do you really think I'm one of those people who believe in giving people who can't afford mortgage a free house?

  • @gamefreak1000000 ok well i just want to make that clear. The Republican party largely is no longer the party of fiscal respectability, limited government and strict adherence to the Constitution. most people here now seem to believe in warmongering and corporate tax breaks.

We need to get out of the wars, cut government, take care of the debt and balance the budget, protect the borders, get rid of the patriot act and start following the Constitution again.

  • @bob494949 Lets not forget he has a Aunt the lives in the projects and a brother that lives in Kenya in a dirt floored hut that is extremely poor! Where is his we
