  • She is such an amazing actress. She is so believable and conveys emotion amazingly.

  • Ive watched every episode to date of greys, and this one scene is the most upsetting of all time for me! I cry EVERYTIME and im a guy, its a mixture of the screaming, the open mouth silent cry and the fact its bailey for me, also the fact they worked so hard for him to stay alive and now they have to let him die:'( x

  • Poor Charles...your azz is toast! :o(

  • This made me cry like a baby... well the whole episode did!! :')

  • what's the name of the song? It's really good.

  • @HP1818 in my viens by andrew belle

  • does anyone know where to download grey's anatomy episodes for free? i want to make a video of season 6 without having to buy all 22 episodes!

  • wauw!

  • I found this scene was a spirit breaker. It was the first time I've seen my husband cry while watching a movie and we were both left feeling defeated. Very effective scene.

  • mandy moore is so beautiful

  • I'm bawling buckets right now. And that almost never happens when I'm watching a TV show. Her "oh dammit" at 0:21 was what really set me off. What a fantastic scene.

  • ...."nothing stays the same"

    love that song !

  • An Emmy, right NOW!

  • I live for this show!...and this scene....is hilarious! i watched it over again on tv like 5 times!

  • Cette scène est vraiment émouvante ...

  • Oh god ! I'm French and the season finale was on TV Wednesday and when I saw Bailey screaming like a crazy person I cried so hard ! It's so heart-breaking to see a great doctor like Bailey, who's usually confident and calm, panicking like that ! It was almost unbearable to watch...

  • Chandra is the best!!

  • Yes It was tough to see Dr. Bailey PANICK like that.

  • My God, I still cannot believe that Chandra Wilson didn't get an Emmy or Golden Globe or something to recognize how incredible she was in this episode. Neither did Sandra Oh who was incredible also. Anyone else feel the Awards Commitees are overlooking Grey's recently?

  • My God, I still cannot believe that Chandra Wilson didn't get an Emmy or Golden Globe or something to recognize how incredible she was in this episode. Neither did Sandra Oh who was incredible also. Anyone else feel the Awards Commitees are overlooking Grey's recently?

Also, this song by Andrew Belle is very good!

  • an Emmy is not big enough for her talent, that's why she didn't get one..

  • best actress ever!

  • Does anybody know the name of this music ?

  • @SoYassou Andrew Belle- In my veins

  • I think what people is saying what is emmy worthy is her acting. The emotion she put into the fact that she knows that she won't be able to save him. That they are stuck there and there's nothing she can do about it. It was emmy worthy...but all this is moot for the fact that she didn't even get nominated which sucks.

  • that whole episode made me cry.

  • this was the first episode of grey's that i ever watched. this scene, this scene is why i watch this show. i watch the show for all the raw emotion. i absolutely praise all these actors- the way they throw themselves into every single scene. every single actor and actress in this show never fails to amaze me.

  • what is this song called??

  • I dont think dragging him down the stairs would have helped much but they could have brought some supplies up to him to at least try and save him

  • @No1MerDerFan4Eva I think the wounds were far too extensive by that point. And dragging him down the stairs would have been fatal. I mean, he died pretty quick after they sat down. They already did what they could, with what they had. Bailey knew nothing else could be done, or else she would've done it.

  • Poor poor Percy!!! I loved him!! Why did he have to die!! April should have died not Percy!!

  • @Dastiel4ever Why does everyone hate April? For the record I'm not a regular watcher of this show. The only time I watch it is if there's a good episode on(like this one & that episode with the "Early Edition" guy playing a bomb squad leader). But from what I saw of this episode April seems ok to me.

  • @Lizfan2 she's kinda annoying...

  • wow! i love bailey and christina. I hate when ppl just sign in to ask ''Who sings this song?'' OMG just enjoy the fuckin clip!

  • Can anyone upload the scene where Dr. Webber finds & talks to Gary Clark? I can't find it anywhere.

  • Comment removed

  • @Lizfan2 yes she could but percy is big and bailey is very small if she dragged him down stairs he would die anyways because of the injury i think he would bleed out IMO

  • @gappjunkie5 He was already bleeding out, & if Bailey was strong enough to drag him to the elevator then she was strong enough to drag him down a flight of stairs. At least maybe he would have had a chance.

  • @gappjunkie5

I had thought of using the stairs too when I saw this scene.

They could have used a wheelchair (they are in a hospital) and wheeled him down to the operating room or bring what they needed up to him. They did fail him...to just let him die should not have been an option. I felt so bad when Percy talked of his Mom. He was Mama's boy...a good man. He deserved more.

  • @WilBarn99 Considering that they were on lockdown in order to isolate a killer & the elevators were turned off I think it stands to reason that the stairs may have been inaccessible too. Of course they never showed that so who knows.

  • @Lizfan2

You are right we will never really know..we just see Bailey panick and lose control.

It's common knowledge in case of fire or emergency people are to use the stairs.

I guess Bailey was not thinking clearly due to the emotinal trauma the gunman put her into.

  • @WilBarn99 Heck the only ones who seemed to have been thinking clearly throughout the whole ordeal were Webber, Owen & Hunt. Although Hunt talking about her relationship problems while walking down the hallways with a critical patient was rather dumb. A psycho killer is on the loose in the hospital killing doctors & she thinks Owen choosing either her or Christina is important at that moment? Cripes she needed a priority check. A reality check would have been good too.

  • @Lizfan2

I did enjoy the Owen Hunt, Teddy & Christina love triangle. I'm glad Owen married Christina. Teddy gets a new love interst soon....I hear. Yes...I am also glad Owen has been given the priority of teaching "what to do in an emergency situation" they do all need the training.

  • @WilBarn99 No kidding. I just don't understand why they didn't have that training in the first place. Granted you never think something like that would happen in a hospital, but wasn't 9-11 supposed to teach us all that anything can happen anywhere at anytime? I thought medical personnel were supposed to be well-versed in what to do & not do in the event they're confronted by an armed psycho (or in any emergency situation for that matter). Also, the swat team in the episode was rather lame.

  • @Lizfan2

Yes I agree. I mean all the men and security guards in Seattle Grace no one could take down one lone gunman! They have to call in a swat team...you must admit it made one really good episode.

But look at Columbine and the other cases of one or two people with guns creating so much killing. Remember that student who killed 32 people?

It can happen..it's not so far fetched at all.

  • @WilBarn99 Yes I know. But in the case of Colombine, there WAS an armed security guard. Unfortunately there was only one guard & he was armed only with a handgun, whereas the 2 killers were armed to the teeth. The guard was outnumbered & outgunned. & VA Tech was a gun-free zone. That's why that psycho was able to kill 33 people there. It's not so far fetched if it's a low-security thing like a school. But hospitals are different. I can't see it happenning in a city hospital.

  • @WilBarn99 Seriously, a huge hospital, a psycho with a gun killing people, no one knows where he is(or who he is at first), & the cops send in only one SWAT team consisting of 5 or 6 guys?? There should have been at least 5 or 6 SWAT teams(or more) searching that hospital. That & the fact that the hospital's security guards seemed to have been unarmed(was the hospital a gun-free zone?)stretches the credibility issue of this episode.

  • @Lizfan2

Yea...it seems that Seatle Grace security guards only carry flashlights and turn chicken when danger comes. I had thought too why aren't the security guards armed? Oh...well it still was a damn good episode.

  • @WilBarn99 I figure maybe the hospital is a gun-free zone. Bad idea obviously. & yes this was a great episode.

  • @Lizfan2

Yea...you ain't kidding. Bad idea to have a gun-free zone in a hospital.

I think they have learned from thier mistake.

  • @Lizfan2 Bailey is barely 5 feet tall, Percy about 6'4'' and well over 200lbs. How on earth was she supposed to get a bleeding man down the stairs?

  • @ghbaby08 Yeah someone else pointed that out to me already.

  • @Lizfan2 good for them...and you.

  • @ghbaby08

I have heard the issue of pysical strength argued by the police and military in reguards to women. If women are to hold these jobs...women should be able to perform the same task. So are you are saying that if he was with Mark Sloan or Owen Hunt at the time they could have saved him?

  • @WilBarn99 ok, let's do this slowly. You are arguing that Bailey (FICTIONAL surgeon) should've been able to carry Percy (with the bleeding gunshot wound) down the stairs because female soldiers are expected to have the same strength as male soldiers? I won't even bother responding.

  • @ghbaby08

All I am humbly saying is that the two of them could have bought him to the Oprerating room or bought what they needed up to him. For Dr. Bailey just to hold his hand and watch him die was not Emmy worthy but it did make good drama.

  • @WilBarn99 psh.

  • @Lizfan2 She couldn't of he would have bled to death.. carrying him that far down stairs would have killed him faster.. he could have also been wounded worse

  • Comment removed

  • @xceccy UP the stairs? Where were they, in the basement?

  • Comment removed

  • @Lizfan2 The man is shot and bleeding to death I don't think it's very smart to drag him of the stairs

  • @xxMhh Yeah several people have pointed that out to me already.

  • Love the song and her performance. Such a beautiful scene!

  • mandy moore and doctor bailey character did an awesome job for this season finale... this shld get an emmy.....

  • which song is on the background?

  • @XxprisjuhxX "In My Veins" by Andrew Belle

  • @ExperimenterFarewell sounded like coldplay to me but good song nonetheless!

  • Jesus, if this doesn't get her an Emmy what will?

  • @squirrelflight5 the sad thing is that she didnt get the emmy ... not even a nod

  • @gappjunkie5 so sad that she didn't. so emotional.

  • @squirrelflight5 Exactly! I felt her anger and her pain when I saw this part.

  • Bailey's nearly the best character in this series.

  • @HateMyClass

not nearly! Bailey IS THE BEST CHARACTER IN THIS SERIES!!

  • to fat for walking ??

  • i cry all the time

  • This is the most amazing piece of Bailey acting ever and she is always good. The silent scream, the silent regain of control complete with readjusting her clothes and the resignation of death immenient is the most powerful writing and execution of that writing I have seen on that show. I love this show for scenes like this but this is my favorite all time scene. Well done.

  • wat song is this

  • Favorite Scene in the entire six seasons of Grey's Anatomy.

  • What de song?? The Fray??

  • @naria84 Andrew Belle In My Veins, and its perfect with this scene

  • Wow...didn't she really panick and lose control. Amazing scene!!!

  • Such a shame that she wasnt even nominated for an emmy this year.

  • god, i haven't even seen the 6th season yet (i'm on a grey's anatomy hiatus since george's death :( ) and this still made me cry. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON??

and btw? fucking amazing acting, chandra, that was just gorgeous, even if i've got no idea in hell what the storyline here is.

  • Oh guys, i can't stop watching this scene!

  • this scene always gets to me =(

  • chandra wilson is well due an emmy now - fantastic actress

  • great Chandra Wilson ! First time, I could't even listen to her because she was screaming in a way which was touching my soul! Great Chandra !

  • In this scene C. Wilson must be awarded... she's more than just "amazing"!!!!

  • this is one of the most moving scenes of the series...Miranda does thru the stages of death in her own way. She is in denial that the elevators aren't working. Then she immediately goes thru anger, then she bargains within herself before the cameras come around to her. it goes out of order in a way b/c she goes thru acceptance and knows that he is going to die. Then she has depression....

  • She is one of the best actors I"ve ever seen!!!

  • I always get the chills!

omfgggg I cried and cried my eyes out watching this! It felt like the end of the world to me because Miranda almost never breaks down, so when she does I feel defeated and scared! lmao

  • this was the part of the finale that i cried the most at. Seriously, when she first starts screaming i was literally shaking. Nothing on tv's ever done that to me.

  • @rmackenzie0112 ME TOO!!!

  • OMG! I just died! watching Dr. Bailey and Dr. Percy! that was the saddest moment! & that song?!?! deeeeyyymm!!!!

  • She's A Mean Actor!!

This Scene Was Sad, She Felt So Helpless!!

  • to see bailey break, broke me! i dont think i have ever cryed that hard watching tv!!! great acting!!

  • I don't even watch this show, never have, but this scene kills even me. What's going on? :(

  • @HurtMeSoul108

A shooter has entered the hospital and shot many innocent people including this intern named Charles. Dr. Bailey who usually has all the answers realizes there is nothing she can do.

Poor Charles bites the dust :o(

  • @WilBarn99 That's horrible :(. Thanks very much for explaining. Am I mistaken, or is that Mandy Moore in the scene also?!

  • @HurtMeSoul108

No you are not mistaken..that is Mandy Moore.

  • this is the most soul-crushing scene i've ever seen on television

  • the part where the camera circle around her then shows her crying. \WOW/ such emotions. her emmy is long overdue. her and sandra

  • @nooriskandar yes that is actually the best part i think not because she was screaming but that moment when the camara circle around her is amazing her face is just very good acting i think

  • FUCKING SOMEONE GIVES THIS WOMAN AN OSCAR!!

  • WHAT IS THE SONG THAT PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND!

  • bailey is cutting up like she wants to tear up the hole hospital

  • OMG This scene is the best in the history of the whole world!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE BAILEY!!!!!

  • This scene BROKE MY HEART in all the episode I think this is the worst !!

BAILEY is the queen I mean it was such a powerfull moment and looking at it I felt hopeless as she was even thoug I was in front of my screen!!
